Modern women are culturally quite accomplished. Their attitude towards acquiring knowledge and keeping in touch with events taking place around the world is exemplary.
They make diligent students and are determined to find their place in the world. They make their country proud, no doubt about it. For example, how cultured a Romanian woman is depends on her personality and her attitude. She does not want to stagnate in the boredom of daily life but is always trying out new things, learning about new ideas, and acquiring new information to augment her knowledge. (Halsall, 1998)"The history of all times, and today especially, teaches that . women will be forgotten if they forget to think about themselves".
A cultural woman will never forget who she is. The three main roles a woman plays in her whole life of a daughter, wife, and mother. But a cultured daughter, wife, and mother show different duties to society. (UNESCO)A Cultured DaughterThe initial stage of a women hood is where she is someone's daughter. Is there that a woman develops the strength of character, tolerance unconditional love, and culture? But as time passes she moves on, and her outlook changes but the inner qualities of cultured women remain the same.
That is why she can be called cultural in contrast often those whose images of superpower, someone who does not bend but will be willing to guide. (About, 2008)A Cultured WifeAccording to almost every culture a woman leaves her family and goes to her husband's place once she is married. A cultured woman follows this tradition. She will maintain a balance between the culture she came from and the culture she went into and will follow it. She will respect the values and norms of her in-laws and will prove herself to be the best for adjusting to that family.
(About, 2008)A Cultured MotherA woman's mind is focused on her family and the upbringing of her children. She will keep them aware of all the modern facts and ways of living but will instill ethnic and cultural values and practices in them. She will make sure that her children eat all kinds of fast food but will make sure her children are used to eating the cultural recipes. A cultural mother will allow her children to wear modern clothes but will take them to church every Sunday. Similarly, a Muslim cultured woman will never allow pork and wine at her house.
(About, 2008)The Initial Duties of WomenThere are some things that are always expected from cultured women such as showing their skills. It is said in the Chinese culture that a woman without talent is a woman without virtue Cooking is one thing through which your culture reflects so a woman should have the ability to do this skill especially when the traditional recipes are concerned. Then a woman should also know how to do household chores and skills such as weaving, knitting, and sowing. Hindu women often learn to sing and dance to improve their skills.
(About, 2008)Women and EducationThe cultural or educational accomplishments of a woman do not imply she will be any less sensuous or desirable. Women have such diverse personalities, and men still find them appealing. Women can be materially or spiritually minded, can be serious or frivolous, and yes, can be blondes or brunettes. There are no definite archetypes of women, who attract men, whatever myths might be prevalent at any time. The fact remains that men find it exciting and challenging to unravel the mysteries of a feminine mind. (UNESCO)In some societies, people don't consider women getting an education as a good sign.
It is however very important for cultured women to get educated because through education a woman can differentiate between right and wrong. Similarly, her education skills will reflect on her children and she can put a better example in front of her children. And she can get a better and higher status in society. (UNESCO)Women and WorkCultured women are usually expected not to be working. But there is no harm in working as long as a woman knows her cultural limits. In short thing within her cultural limits is perfectly fine.
These days cultured women are usually career oriented but with dignity and respect. (UNESCO)ConclusionAnd as a conclusion it can be said that Culture and society are the same but people may differ from them.
