It is worth to note that KFMC is the largest and most modern complex of its kind in the whole of the Middle East. With a capacity of about 1,200 beds, it caters to some 50,000 admitted patients and 600,000 out-patients annually. The Nutrition Department is only third in the level of management hierarchy after the Support Services Department which is under the Office of the Executive Director for Operations. Nonetheless, the applicant was given the formidable and humongous tasks of taking charge over delicate matters like the preparation and delivery of the appropriate food and meal for every individual or group of individuals, particularly the patients, with focus on concerns over nutritional values.

This job was of such magnitude as it has to attend to a big number of people. The stay at KFMC was for two years and was concluded by the applicant with untarnished record and impressive achievement. In effect, the professional exposure of this applicant is defined in three common denominators: nutrition, health, public. To sum it up, the advancement in career for the proponent of this application has no where to go but to a step higher or farther. With his academic background on nutrition via a master's degree, and a solid working knowledge of health owing to an outstanding employment at KFMC where he gathered more fundamentals in a distinct environment of so many to be served, and a six-month health campaign effort, the applicant has all the reasons to seek admission to the program of the University for the course of Doctor of Public Health.

The subjects of the public health doctor course are well and properly matched with the educational and employments records of the applicant. These include the complexity of health problems connected to the interactions of people and their physical and social environments, international trends in today's public health like the one about the so-called swine flu, community participation in health crusades, etc. With all the foregoing premises, the proponent has aptly
