Management Bank. After visiting the bank some key features of its organizational structure and business operations became clearly visible. The employees of the bank can be seen on their usual working places. They fulfill their usual functions very systematically and are rather friendly to the customers. The staff of the bank controls the work of the employees and consults them in case of any problems. The manager of the bank is clearly visible - he monitors the bank functioning and resolves the problems occurring by the employees and the customers. The manager's activity is also seen in the bank customers consulting: he answers their questions and directs the activity of the employees. It is also visible that the employees' activity is customer-oriented. All the employees are busy - they work with the clients, advise them how to act better in different situations and are oriented for their needs satisfying. The organization structure of the bank is typical for such business: the employees work under the manager's control, and the staff of the bank fulfills direction functions and is responsible for appropriate functioning of the bank. If I owned this business I would give make the consulting office functions wider, and pay more attention to the quality of the work with clients, as well as to the betterment of connections between the manager and the customers of the bank. In addition to that it needs to note that the bank inside is rather clean and well-maintained: the working process is appropriately organized and meets the highest business standards in the bank field. 2. Car lot. A car lot I have visited is a large area with numerous amount of cars presented for clients. The employees of the car lot are dressed in special cloths reflected the firm brand. The great amount of consultants provides the functioning of the car lot. The manager of the car lot is visible, but he doesn't always satisfy the customers' needs as most part of his time he spends for the employees: he controls their activity and works with documentation. The manager's functions and his activity are not clearly visible for the customers. The employees of the car lot are mostly customers-oriented, but some of them are absent when the customers need their help: they waste time talking to other employees and work with the documents rather than with the clients. But those who answer the clients' questions consult them rather well and show much knowledge in the car field. The business has strict organizational structure, but sometimes the functions of the employees are mixed: both the manager and the consultants work with the documentation and don't always pay appropriate attention to the customers' needs, but basically the business process runs rather well. The car lot is rather clean, but sometimes the employees who are responsible for the clearness of the store don't do their duty well: dirt is visible in some places. But if I owned a car lot I would improve the organizational system of my business: I would make the assortment of production wider; the management functions should be more centralized, and the head manager of the car lot should concentrate his activity upon better communication with clients - he should try to satisfy all their needs and pay more time and attention to better organization of the business operations of the car lot. 3. Court. I have visited a set of courts which are used for business. The employees of the courts are clean dressed and they have all their equipment necessary for the work. The employees' functions are strictly determined, and it is seen that they do their functions rather well. But it needs to note that the manager is not visible in the court - just sometimes he directs the employees' working process, but most part of his time he spends for different kinds of activity which is not directed to the working process functioning. But in spite of that the employees of the court are mostly customer-oriented and do their duties rather well: they help customers to choose the right sport equipment and advise them correct methods of their game. The employees are also responsible for the customers' safety in the process of the game. Organizational structure of the court is presented by the employees, the head manager and senior managers who are responsible for different kinds of the business functioning. In general the organizational structure of the court provides successful running of the business. But there are some things which have to be changed and improved. If I owned this business I would increase the head manager's responsibility for the working process and monitor the situation attentively and carefully. I would also improve the employees' functions use and organize the training process more appropriately. I would also pay appropriate attention to the cleanness of the area: in some places it is dirty and not well-maintained. 4. Retail shop. During my visit to a retail shop I have noted that the employees' amount is not necessary for appropriate functioning of the business - such amount of employees cannot satisfy all customers' needs. The customers sometimes have to help themselves in different problematic situations. The employees are not appropriately organized and spent much of their time for talking with each other and checking the production display on the shelves. They are not customer-oriented and their functions don't always meet the customers' needs satisfying. The manager of the retail shop is invisible: he doesn't direct the business organization appropriately and pays more attention to additional functions which are not directly connected with the business functioning. He seldom talks to the employees and doesn't direct their activity for the working process improving. The business' organizational structure consists of the employees in the shop, the manager and the general staff which is responsible for all business operations of the retail shop, but the functions of different members of the structure are rather mixed that is shown in the work organization. In addition to that, the shop is rather dirty - the employees who are responsible for cleanness don't act well. If I owned this business I would improve the employees' working process and that of the manager: the whole amount of the employees would be enlarged, and their functions realization should be improved. 5. Fast food establishment. My visit to a fast food establishment gave me notion of the working process in this business. The employees of the establishment are always busy doing their ordinary work: they accept orders, clean, care for clients needs satisfaction and do many other functions appropriate for such fast food establishments. It is visible that the employees are customer-oriented - they fulfill their functions rather well and are always attentive to the customers. They are dressed in special uniform reflected the brand name of the fast food establishment - it increases customers' confidence for the brand and make the establishment popular among its clients. The manager role is also displayed in such good organization of the working process. He has organized the business operations at a very high level, and it is seen that the manager looks after the business functioning - he consults the employees and the customers, regulates problematic situations and monitors all the processes. The organization structure of the fast food establishment provides its successful functioning and allows the customers to enjoy visiting here. It consists of the main and additional employees, head manager and general staff of the establishment which controls the whole functioning of the business. The inside of the establishment is rather clean, and special employees carry about it. Cleanness is especially needed for such type of business - it attracts clients' attention and shows good results of the personnel' work. If I owned this business I would stay the situation monitoring at the same level and improve the service by putting some new kinds of special equipment into action. 6. Summary. I have visited five different types of business. The bank functioning is rather successful, although there are some insufficient lacks of its business organization: the consulting process should be improved, as well as the interactions between the manager and the employees. But in general the bank functioning is on rather high level. In the car lot the organizational structure should be improved. Unlike the bank employees those of the car lot should more attentive do their job; the manager should also become more customer-oriented and care for the clients' needs satisfaction. But the general functioning of the car lot is satisfying. In the court the head manager functions should be better determined and monitored; the employees do their job rather well, but the work of some of them needs to be improved - it would provide the better results of the whole business process. The cleanness function should also be well maintained. The retail shop functioning is worse than that of the bank, the car lot and the court. The employees' and the manager's functions are mixed and don't meet high business standards. The whole working process should be attentively analyzed and improved; the management functioning should also be more customer-oriented and directed to the higher standards achieving. Unlike other four types of business the fast food establishment organization is better maintained and acted. The employees' functions are strictly determined and directed by the manager who act professionally and responsibly; cleanness of the inside area induces the customers choose this place as the best in this field of establishments.
