Reasons for Pursuing Further Studies Since childhood, I have this extraordinary interest in architecture and design. Until now my love for buildings and other artistic structures prevails. I am built with the natural tendency to discover the concepts behind such magnificent masterpieces that I encounter everyday. In view of my artistic inclinations, I opt to pursue undergraduate studies at (Name of School). With these in mind, I fervently want to further hone my artistic skills which have been initially enhanced by my high school education at (Name of High School), a school that specializes in the arts and graphic design.

I believe that by gaining access in this prestigious institution, I would be able to achieve my ultimate career objective.Although I have had some of my artworks exhibited in a number of galleries back home, I truly want to be a better artist and constantly improve my craft. I think that by pursuing further studies in this school and being under the tutelage of its highly competitive faculty, I would be able to substantially learn and grow to become the best artist that I could be. Furthermore, I would be able to acquire more knowledge about various techniques that may be applied in my artworks to constantly improve them as I am taught by the best teachers of art.

As much as I would benefit from enrolling in this school, I reckon that could also significantly contribute to the growth of this institution. Coming from a different cultural background, I could impart fresh insights and ideas to both my teachers and fellow students. In this regard, greater learning about the arts is fostered as diversity of culture and ideas are generated. I could also help them in the appreciation of a foreign and often misunderstood culture.Apart from this, I believe that a higher level would equip me to come up with a unique technique that combines both Middle-Eastern and Western influences.

Albeit myriad contradictions exist between these clashing schools of thought in terms of politics or religion, I think that through art they can be reconciled. As I gain greater knowledge when I enter this school, I intend to achieve this primary goal. After this, I could also share my newly acquired knowledge not only through the exhibition of my artworks but through teaching other young artists as well. With the right education, I would be able to propagate my style by imparting to others the techniques that I make use of.

I may even put up my own school that would serve to enrich the knowledge of other aspiring artists like me.Given the above reasons, I truly believe that pursuing undergraduate studies at (Name of School) would empower me as an artist and impel me to be a step closer to my aspirations. Should I be accepted in this institution, I commit to do my best and support activities in line with the vision of the school.
