One way to tackle terrorism actions is to cooperate with other nations that are experiencing the same threats from the terrorist world (Hamburg 253). The cooperative operations should be conducted in such a way that all the nations involved should gain mutual benefit and respect of each others’ nations should be given high priority. This cooperation can be of significant benefit in the short term and the long term. In the short term, terrorist attacks can be prevented and assassinations can be stopped, in the long term countries can share socio-economic benefits.

In the short term nations have to share intelligence with each other, share information about terrorist organizations located in their countries and near them, actions taken by the policymakers that either foster or defroster terrorist organizations and activities, applying economic sanctions in order to prevent financing to such terrorist organizations and compliance in military actions, which may or may not involve use of each other’s bases, staging areas and air strikes.
