Gastrointestinal disturbances in the first patient may be caused by Esophagitis (inflammation of the oesophagus); Gastritis inflammation of layer covering stomach); Gastroenteritis (inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract); Esophageal varices (dilatation of submucosal veins in the lower part of esophagus); Peptic ulcer (breach in the mucosal layer of the stomach); Ileus (lack of digestive propulsion); Enterocolitis (inflammation of the digestive tract); Appendicitis( inflammation of the appendix); Hepatitis (inflammation of the liver); Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas); Testing of gastrointestinal diseases: Endoscopy (examination of organs accessible to observation through an endoscope), Abdominal X-ray ( an X-ray of the abdomen);Biopsy (examination of cells and tissues from a living subject).

Problems with breathing in the second patient may be caused by Emphysema (a permanent enlargement of air spaces in the respiratory zone); Chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the airways); Asthma (increase in airway resistance caused coupled with increased mucus secretion); Dyspnea (labored breathing, breathlessness); Tachypnea ( rapid breathing, a ventilatory rate greater than 20 breaths per minute);Cystic fibrosis (poor clearance of mucus from the bronchi, accumulated in repeated lung infections).
