The strategic decision was never wrong because this is a market niche, Michelin aimed at providing solutions, unlike the other companies that operate differently. Along with this, the movie was well planned out with a plan of differentiation in the sale of the services.  Typically, the challenges being experienced could be because the concept may be new to the market. I think Michelin Solutions should pursue the path, build on the strengths of having the tire rethreaded, and have a strong marketing team to distribute the products to all the niches.

The fact that the company is still functional and the rationale elaborate is an assurance of a better future in this line of operation. Despite the poor performance, rectifying the three market areas advised by ISC promises realization on the expectations. The ISC pointed out the marketing system as being the problem but there are larger issues at stake. The role of marketing is tied to the revenues of the company which by far has not fetched the company any profit in three years. Undeniably, marketing is to blame but there are other issues to be addressed as well.

The ISC explored critical marketing segments that have affected the revenue, the sale cycles, and the market entrance as a whole. The managerial account of events for the organization seems to be very complicated to the extent that there are disagreements between the top managers (Renault, Dalsace & Ulaga, 2010). More than this, the financial issues seem to have cut deep into the system of the MFS and this is the worst part of it all for the company. Michelin as big and established as it is seems to apportion its focus upside down.

Pierre tells that the job for the staff is managing the complex information systems rather than selling the tires which is the key business. The MFS as of now is a very slippery place where it could revert all its efforts and lose the objectives on which it is founded. However, given that the company has targeted a market niche that is quite promising, it would be prudent to deal with the turmoil and find a way forward. The way to deal with the myriad of turmoil is to examine the operations from top to bottom.

The managerial issues, the financial reporting issues, and marketing issues one at a time. Establishing practical solutions would revive the MFS. This includes dealing with the individual needs of clients, deciding on contracts that are more friendly and appealing to clients, and easing the work of distributors. These measures would help in dealing with the current predicaments (Renault, Dalsace & Ulaga, 2010).
