Culture Symbolism of Wine in Branding and Marketing - Dissertation Example

Many new consumers in China have become major clients of the Chinese wine market. Culture symbol plays a very important role in the Chinese’s society. Culture symbol is to understand the reactions, explain the feelings, thoughts, and actions of members of the society. People can use cultural symbols to distinguish different people through their own eyes. Culture symbol has three core functions, which can be classified as the reflection of society, as the cultural symbol a cause of intrinsic value and role, and culture symbol that can help people to defend themselves in society.

Furthermore, more than half of interviewees claim that they drink wine, as they believe, wine is good for their health. The findings show that wine is seen as a cultural symbol of wealth in China.I want to acknowledge my supervisor, Dr. Jenna Ward, who helped me to finish the dissertation. She has never tried to give me support and valuable feedback during the whole consultation period. Hence, I am having the confidence to manage and to handle the even toughest research work in my master's education.

According to the Darwinian standpoint, culture symbolic is an unsettling opinion (Frey et al., 2010). However, modern science has become against this standpoint (Frey et al., 2010). According to Searle (1996), a cultural symbol is a kind of environment object fact, which is completely dependent on a subjective belief.
