Therefore final objective of all marketing strategies and activities is to make the consumer buy the product. And here in lies the importance of understanding what makes the consumer buy a product
Example – customers shall be more receptive to food advertisements when they are hungry. This notion leads to an overdrive of food commercials late in the afternoon, a time most likely to see majority of individuals just beginning to feel hungry (Hawkins, Best & Coney, 1998).
