This is because they have managed to cater to every need of their market, with their wide range of product offers at the lowest possible prices. Customers patronize Wal-Mart stores due to the huge savings that these stores offer. Consequently, this Retail Marketing Plan shall capitalize on this value proposition to ensure that Wal-Mart continues to capture the target market and maintain its place as the preferred retail store in the US and UK

As always, Wal-Mart ensures that it gets the prime spot in every location it intends to penetrate. With the aid of Wal-Mart Realty Co., which takes care of Wal-Mart store’s business development strategies, the company shall open its 5th branch in Tennessee located at Kingston Highway, west of Cherokee Hills. It aims to cater to the residents of nearby areas such as Cherokee Hills, Suburban Shores and Eblen Estates.
The convenient location of Wal-Mart’s 5th store in Tennessee offers easy access to major highways. It also offers ample parking areas, roomy aisles and abundant displays of the various items that it carries.

Wal-Mart boasts of its customer service, with the presence of highly competent retail store assistants and specialists who would cater to queries and complaints of shoppers. Customer Service desks shall be situated in strategic locations within the retail store to ensure that all shoppers have easy access to assistance whenever necessary. Store attendants would also be present per product segment to assist shoppers in their needs.

Wal-Mart shall also offer a 24-hour customer service hotline which customers could call for information on Wal-Mart’s products and services.
