As a result, not all business ideas are viable hence the need to do a thorough research before undertaking a business project. My company’s name is XYZ and it specializes in Glass Cameras. However, this business faces some challenges considering that this is a new concept in the market. Glass camera is a new concept in the market whereby a person wears the gadget on the face similar to a Smartphone. The glass camera fundamentally transforms all human interactions including getting driving directions, check mail, and even make calls. This hands-free gadget projects images onto a transparent screen suspended in front of the eyes. The gadget stimulates the inner eye through vibration, using this gadget is similar to being naked with a machine with synapses and wires combined. Glass camera is a head-mounted computer and it has a microphone, a camera, as a result seeing, and hearing what the person sees and hears. However, this gadget not meant for recording daily activities like other cameras is a smart device for alerting messages, answering questions, and provides driving directions. This gadget can take pictures without raising alarm because a person only needs to press the button on the side of the device and start instant recording. This glass has a processor although in the cloud, and accesses internet through an internal Wi-Fi. With the help of a Bluetooth, this gadget can share a person’s mobile data and a bone conduction transducer helps in receiving the sound. As a result, this is a credible gadget for any consumer especially on the road. Glass camera efficiently gives the driver directions without necessarily having to use both hands to get direct the information. In other words, this gadget may reduce road accidents caused by drivers searching for directions from other hands-on gadget. Technology is on the increase and Glass camera is not only flashy, but also classic. Everyone can use this gadget at the comfort of his or her homes or offices. The Glass camera may have a better advantage to people with poor vision. As a result, this gadget may become a head-mounted eye for this group of people. On the other hand, the gadget has many opportunities for scientific, industrial, and medical applications. It is clear that Glass Camera can deliver clear and easy to understand instruction especially for people with poor cognitive capabilities. On the other hand, this gadget can help people experiencing paralysis to communicate easily over the web. This company ensures that many people who earlier failed to afford technological tools due to expense can easily afford Glass Camera. Environmental Factors Competition is the major challenge for this company because despite being among the first people to introduce this product in the market, several companies have equally come up with similar gadgets. In addition, the production cost remains high and the company has no control over the costs of both software and hardware required for assembling Glass Camera. This affects the market price for this gadget, making unaffordable to some group of people. On the other hand, people tend to misuse the gadget and some users have collided with the law for using Glass Camera while driving. Browsing the gadget when driving can easily cause accidents because the glass tends to steel the driver’s attention. This case is similar to hands-free cell phone use while driving because research shows that this practice is mentally distracting and equally dangerous. Another external factor affecting this gadget is the fact that other people around Glass camera users feel insecure. They tend to think that the user may be recording them without their consent. This problem has seen some hotels ban the gadget use inside their premises arguing that they want their customers to feel comfortable. Some casinos have equally banned the use of Glass Cameras crying foul during play. Some medical experts argue that Glass Camera is not for everyone. They have advised people who have had Lasik surgery to consult their doctors before using the gadget. In addition, these medical experts urge the children below 13 years not to use the gadget because it could have a later effect on their eyes. Some users have complained of straining their eyes and this may raise the question of eye safety among users. Technological evolution is another external factor affecting this company. Technology is vastly evolving, and this demands that every producer should remain conversant with changes in the market. Everyday different software comes up hence the need for this company to have managers well trained and skilled for the job. Android is a good example of a company whose software evolves by day. Glass Camera technology is new in the market and many software companies would want to develop better product that our company. The changing economy plays a big role in customer buying power, and this affects this company. Times are hard especially after the credit crisis. Currently, majority of the population buy the most important things in their lives. Glass Camera is not a priority to a person who does not know where to get his or her next meal. After all, the android phones seem to serve similar purposes with this gadget. Some people may feel uncomfortable with these glasses on. As earlier mentioned, these gadgets are quite expensive now although prices may go down with time. Consequently, this gadget’s popularity is yet to establish especially in the developing areas. Marketing Glass Camera is difficult because it has no serious advantages over similar applications. Lastly, the software used in Glass Camera is still immature, and conspicuously different from cell phones, car navigators, and computers among others. In addition, this concept is too geeky making it hard to succeed in mass-market product. For this reason, there is a dire need for more research regarding this gadget identifying on areas that require improvement. Some users have complained of unclear images. Others argue that the display forces each eye to focus at different distances especially when the images overly on the real world. This action strains the eyes hence the need to look into modifications to ensure customer eye safety. Conclusion’ Developing new products is tricky and the company has to identify the challenges related to the business. Glass camera is a new concept that continues to face both internal and external challenges. While people with cognitive problems may have a solution using Glass Camera, research shows that this gadget can strain the eyes. In addition, the gadget has caused discomfort to the people around these users assuming they are on record. This has forced some casinos and hotels to ban wearing of Glass Cameras within their premises. However, the more people will use these gadgets, the more people will earn their confidence. However, a few changes have to take place in this gadget production to ensure customer satisfaction. The images have to be more clear meaning that the camera resolution may require improvement.
