Business Plan The air bags are designed in such a way that it safeguards and protects the passengers and the drivers in the car. They are not considered as a substitute of the seatbelts. The most appropriate and proper form of protection that can be provided to the passengers are the airbags in combination with the seat belt. The similar type of products is the use of the seat belt but the seat belt along with the air bag can provide better protection. The main features or the characteristics of the air bags are it is introduced and developed to minimize the risk of injury and death caused or resulted from an auto accident and now a day’s some cars are invented and introduced in such a way that it consist of six or eight air bags. The value of this product is that at the time when the car crashes the momentum of the car changes instantly. The airbags acts as a constraint for helping or assisting the passengers to stop the passengers and also protecting and safeguarding the passengers. The air bag facilitates the passengers from the side swipes of the car , front on collisions etc and the airbags are designed in such a way that it prevents and restricts the injuries that are caused from the severe car accidents. The existence and the presence of the airbags will also influence the secure placement of child and infant. The most essential and the unique feature of the air bags are it transmits crash sensors that indicates and designed in such a way that the vehicle has been damaged in accident. The threat of substitutes of the airbag is that the substitute product and its existence in the market may drive the consumers to switch to the product of its competitors. The substitute product is considered as an alternative of the supply of the product in the market. Therefore the existence3 of substitute is considered as the threat of the company. The seat belt is considered as a substitute of the air bag by some of the customers or the passengers. The customers generally perceive that the seatbelts are designed and introduced in such a way that it provides comfort to its customers and there exist differences in the level of comfort that is being provided by the airbags and seatbelt. The front air bag is not capable of protecting the side and the roll over and the rear crashes. In this case on the basis of such differences the customers generally prefer or select the use of seat belt for the safety and protection for facing these types of crashes. The air bags are designed only to protect or safeguard the frontal crash (Pressler, 164). The raw material, equipment, financial resources that are required for the improvement in the performance and the operation of the air bags are it requires side curtain bags for covering the rear windows and the rear doors that mainly absorbs the influence of collision thus as a result for protecting and preventing the passengers and the travellers. The impact and the influence of collision prevent and safeguard the passengers from ejecting in the car. The bargaining power of suppliers determines the seller’s strong position in the market and also determines the extent of increase in the control in the price of the supply of the airbags. The success and the achievement of the airbags depend upon the crash of the sensors that are not working perfectly and accurately. The company is required to focus and emphasize on the expensiveness and the technological advancement of the system. The air bag system mainly consists or comprises of the inflator, sensor and also a nylon bag. When considering the sensor it mainly detects the collision and it also activates the inflator which mainly constitutes sodium aside, combustible chemical which is mainly converted into nitrogen gas which fills the air bag. But there exists a doubt or confusion regarding the reliability and the safety of the system of airbags. The threat of new entries mainly depends on the existing barrier of the entry and exit of the competitors in order to enter into the market. There are various companies that want to diversify its products and I the company. The arrival and the entry of the new companies mainly depend or are influenced by the size of the market. The company is required to create the value of its product in such a way so that the competitors face the barriers or the challenges in entering into the market with the requirement for huge amount of capital in order to start the business and the difficulties or the problems that is encountered in finding or hiring the suppliers for building various components, huge cost involved in switching off its product by the customers and the existence of various differentiated products. The different or varieties of sensors that are included in the airbags generally measures the brake measures, speed and the indicators are mainly used for monitoring the control unit of the air bag . the sensors that are attached mainly displays the signals or the symptoms for the control unit of airbag which analyzes and evaluates the features and the characteristics for the door lock and also the deployment of airbag. It functions in such a way that once the control unit which mainly determines or identifies the occurrence of an accident and the air bag has been designed and introduced in such a way that on the happening of an accident the air bag transmits the signal to the inflator system. The system of inflator mainly related to the charge of chemical and production and manufacture of explosion relating to nitrogen gas which is required for filling up of such air bag. When the air bag is being filled up then it is offered or performed through panelling which contains it. The inflator is engaged in entering into the space that is provided by the car for protecting and safeguarding the passengers. Works Cited Pressler, Larry.
