Mobile phones in the 1990s were in low demand but with time they became cheaper and more improved and today everyone wants to own a mobile phone.
When internet technology first came, it was very expensive to access the internet and people would make huge sales from the internet. With time everyone can access the internet at a cheaper price and more easily. Almost every house has an internet connection and mobile phones as well.

When computers were first discovered, low sales were made but with time everyone purchased one and the sales today have doubled compared to then.
The concept of contactless payment was first launched in 2008, but people were reluctant to use it, and today at least one out of three customers owns a contactless card since it has become more efficient to use.
When Mac Donald’s first put their stores in New York they made little sales since everybody was afraid to try out their new products but now the sales are more since most people have visited MacDonald’s and are now used to the type of products they offer.

When skating shoes were first made available in the market few people knew about skating, however with time skating became a fashionable sport and the sales of skating shoes doubled.
When smartphones became first available in 2012, few people knew about smartphones but today everyone wants a Smartphone since it connects people more than other cellular phones, and thus the sales have grown by 21 percent.

Tripping points

The video cassettes face a lack of market as DVDs take charge. It is rare to find individuals who prefer video cassettes today with the presence of DVDs
ITunes not being able to sustain the music business is a tripping point.
