Analysis of Marketing iPhone 5s Apple Inc has unveiled a number of products that have stormed the market. One of these is the iPhone 5S that was officially launched 20th September 2013. This bundle of technology is advancement from a previous product that was developed by the same company, iPhone 5. iPhone 5S has adopted several features from the predecessor such as the design. However the phone outstands in the way that it presents more advanced features that makes it a technology to reckon with. Its market reception has been very impressive and the potential of the product remains to be fully exploited. iPhone 5S has a variety of features that will make you admire the technology. It has a minimal hardware user interface that has precisely five buttons with only one button, home button located outside the screen, directly below it. This home button is flattened and uses a metallic ring that surrounds a sapphire cover; this makes the button very idea for pressing. Just like its predecessor iPhone 5, it has a 4-inch LCD touch screen that covers the better part of the Smartphone’s display. However, the phone has been modified to be lighter and slim, actually, it is only 112 grams and 0.3 inches thin. One of the key features that relates to advanced security is the fingerprint recognition system that is found within the home button. This is a very creative feature given that it is impossible for a stranger to manipulate the gadget without the consent of the owner. In addition, recognition system makes it possible for the authentication of purchases for iTunes and in the App store. The iPhone uses an iOS7 operating system and has the A7 main processor. The processor is 64-bit, one of its kind of technology in the mobile industry, it is accompanied by a M7 co-processor that is able to process motion data without engaging the main processor. This makes data processing efficient and faster. Given the rapid change in technology today, the demand for quality products with distinct features is high. iPhone 5S presents a technology that will catch the attention of the wealthy and the middle class. The high number of middle class citizens in the developed countries and the rich across the word will consider use of the product because of the efficiency it presents, the security features and the ability to be used without much itch. The world of today is characterized by the need for simplicity, portability, durability and reliability. The technology presents these characteristics to the consumer. The market for the product is not localized, judging from the reception of the predecessors, the product has very high chances of capturing the entire world market. iPhone 5S is expected to gain popularity among the business class, the elite, dignitaries and other individuals that are able to afford the product. The market reception of the product since its launch has been very encouraging. Organizations such as All Things Digital have applauded the product on grounds that the Touch ID claiming that it presents futuristic advancement in the biometric authentication. The market has also been ripe for a product that has less than four months in the shops. It was reported to be the major selling phone in the United States in September 2013, actually, the first week after release saw over one million pieces sold. This demonstrates the potential of the product in developing through the life cycles rapidly. As it is today, the product has surpassed the introduction stage and has showed rapid growth. The growth cycle is being facilitated by marketing the product all across the word. It is expected to remain in the market for a while before another product is developed with a better technology. However, due to the similarity it portrays in comparison to its predecessors it the growth cycle is expected to be very rapid. The consumption is usually high when individuals are able to afford an advanced product. The purchase decision of the product is facilitated by the positive response that has been given from different quarters. In addition, the product creates motivation from the customers because it lacks an equal match. Currently retailing at around $ 125 for the 16 GB device and $ 225 for the 32 GB iPhone 5S, it is likely that most of the middle class that makes the bulk of the population will be able to afford. This increases the chances of the product being accepted. Again, the post purchase experience has been very impressive as depicted by the responses that have come from the customers. The sensitivity of the consumers is somehow inelastic as depicted by the sales that have been made in the course of the product in the market. The reduction in price that has been adopted has not significantly affected the sales, but instead the sales are attributable to the expanded market. The product has a wide distribution all across the world, marketing as well as sales has been done through multiple ways. Online shopping through company agents has well as through the stores makes the bulk of the sales. The distribution has been through the retailers and wholesalers; however, the company takes charge of marketing and advertising of the product. The company has utilized various methods to create public awareness of the product, these includes use of the social media, Television, online advertisements among others. iPhone 5S remains a spectacular product that has a good market reputation so far because of its advanced features and the superb technology it employs. The consumers are prompted to consume the product because the post-purchase experience has demonstrated to be good.
