Marketing is a process of letting the s knows the value and cost of a product. When a product is marketed, it will link the society material requirement together with the economy pattern: the process of marketing build an exchange process leading to a long term good relationship with the customers. When a product is marketed well, the value of a product is communicated and consumers’ relationship with the company will be well managed hence benefiting the company. For a hotel business to succeed there is a set of engagements required, these include, capturing the inside of the market, creating a good public relation so as to connect with the customers well, providing the best services, developing a long term growth, being in a position of developing and delivering value in time, and having good marketing strategies.

In our hotel industry, we are targeting several groups of guests including those planning for weddings, group meetings, tourist guest house, large corporate meetings, reunions, training seminars, and luncheons. Marketing will assist us to know who our customers are and how to satisfy their requirement. Due to the competition existing in the industry, we have developed a motto GIVING THE BEST TO ALL so as to attract people from different ages and different multicultural background. I selected the outlet serving each group depending on the age, marital status, ethnic/racial background, income, education status, employment status, accessibility, and interest of each group because different mode of communication can reach different groups differently.

This article explains how to lure customers and the cost of marketing in the hotel. To reach those groups being targeted, both inside and outside the organization, internet, talent development, and mobile marketing have become the key marketing tools. To observe into the existing talents, the organization should encourage their employees to perform better. The management should understand every employee needs and encourage them to speak out if they feel dissatisfied. Many managers do not know what their employees need.

If the management understands what an employee wants and what makes him/her happy and tap into it, they will get encouraged and sacrifice whatever required from them hence moving the organization towards where it is required. The organization should also develop recognition programs. This program encourages teamwork because individuals who excel in their work are rewarded for their good performance. Giving an employee publicity of its work instill a sense of acceptance and value of his job hence boosting his work in maintaining customers.

The industry should also develop social activities for socialization; this will enable the employees to know each other better since they will be comfortable discussing issues that are facing them. The sense of camaraderie is build through developing such activities. Management should outline clear roles for each employee so as to boost its abilities. Before the work is started, the employees should outline skills sets and dateline charts. The responsibilities should be given according to the ability; this will reduce stress resulting from unrealistic expectations.

Disputes between the employees should be mediated by the organization. When an issue arises between the employees, the organization should provide a clear road map on how to control the issues arising among the members. This will boost the morale of the employees by empowering employees to sort out matters effectively and productively. If there is an employee who has created a negative effect, the employees should be encouraged to provide clear documentation of any problem. Each an every employee should be given a guideline on how to change the situation.

On the external target, several channels were adopted. First internet marketing is currently the key mode of marketing in the world. Internet marketing is in three forms, web marketing, mobile marketing and social marketing (Radisson Hotel Providence Airport 1). Currently, when a person wants to go for holiday, the first step is to go online and look for hotels to stay in. The customers do the search so as to get significant information such as photos, cost, promotions, deals, and menus. This websites also help in sharing information between customers and management.

Retargeting is another form of internet marketing. The previous visitors who visited the website are encouraged to visit again. This works through presenting the previous websites visited and presenting on guest favorite website. Providence Airport Hotel in Warwick has developed a trend of retargeting services for marketers in hotel industry. Mobile hotel marketing is similar to web marketing but it reaches more people easily. Providence Airport Hotel in Warwick has built a product that can work on all mobile handset and screen resolution.

In social hotel marketing, the form of social media such as face book and twitter are applied. This strategy is good because it is where the customers are. According to statistics, one in every 12 people in the world use Face book. More than half of the users login daily. Face book is developing very fast to be one of search engines because that is where people look for friends and what they are interested in, such interest include hotel information (Timothy 123). Face book use is important since hotel can easily get new guest.

To maintain customers during the low season, we will change our policies on the cost and privileges. The prices of the basic commodities will be lowered and if a group books more that 8 tables for an event, each an every member will be provided with a drink. In events of planning a weeding, the host can be given free services of printing weeding invitation cards. The hotel will try to minimize the cost of marketing through advertising through the magazine and online. Online advertising has been found to be the cheapest and can reach many guest.

Marketing will be funded by the revenue generated from the industry. Of the total amount generated, we will dedicate 2% to marketing campaigns since the online campaign has drastically reduced the cost. Every employee is also encouraged to participate in marketing, if he manages to bring a guest, he/she will get a reward. Referral contest through Email and face book will be also used, if a customer manages a certain number of referrals he/she will get a reward for his work.
