They are created by recorders or witnesses who experienced the events documented, unfold real time. These sources are often created at the time the conditions or events are taking place. Primary sources could still include memoirs, autobiographies and oral histories recorded at later dates. These sources are categorized by content regardless of whether they are available in published format, original format or digital format. Primary sources include intellectual property, for example, novels, paintings and music recordings. Secondary sources of information are sources written, giving an account about primary information sources. They interpret, analyze and discuss information about a principal source. If a newspaper editor wrote about a speech a historical leader, such as, Winston Churchill gave in 1939 that would be a secondary source. The information disseminated by a secondary source is not original but a direct report. Secondary materials take information from a group or an individual and analyze the topic. These sources include reference materials, magazines, videotapes, journal articles, encyclopedias, etc. Tertiary sources provide a general summary of a subject or topic by combining information gathered from other sources. Credible sources have been outlined therein and these are those that deserve belief. Arguably, they may provide incorrect or misleading information, but are less likely to do so. The information availed by sources affiliated with an institution of higher learning in this news story are believably credible. The sources cited with a relevant publication record also give evidence and proof that a first-hand account of the investigation was documented. The news story has quoted publishers with a reputation for scholarly publishing and affiliated with a university, college or research institution. These sources also provide information that is credible and can be confirmed. In the news story there exists some credible works but may not be accurate. They may have relied on present incorrect information. This specific problem has occurred in instances that the work is old, emotionally biased or addresses an unclear or disputed issue. The sources that I believe are accurate have presented the work using facts and the results agree with the subject theme. Other works that have provided clear explanations of how data was gathered the process of reaching the results is accurate. The sources therein have provided citations and detailed explanations of reasoning are accurate. The sources that I strongly believe are current and timely have researched about ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
