TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION STRATEGY By [Name of Student] [Name of Instructor] [University] [Name of Course] [Date] Tools/ tech/ methods/ methods As earlier stated, Telstra corporation is a vast company that offers an array of services to its customers. The firm is excelling in telecommunication industry due to number of reasons that would be clearly explicated in this piece of work. This study will focus on methodology, tools and approaches that Telstra is putting in place for it to be relevant in the market and able to be very competitive amid stiff competition from other companies of the same calibre. Therefore this part of work presents methods and tools for enforcing the law on how to deal with other issues of insecurity and simulation activities in respect to telecommunication. It is important to note that Telstra is designed and modelled to aid in simulation activities. This design enables it to navigate the entire system for efficacy in the telecommunication in this industry that is growing at a rapid rate. Telstra is used to tune engines, propeller and weapons that are used in different departments or firms. Tools High fidelity communication This is fitted with military communication or radio to enhance efficacy in communication. It aids military personnel in their operation within the sphere they are manning. It is important to underscore that this high fidelity aids the communication to be very effective such that the military personnel may be able to communicate effectively using the radio calls and get immediate response with clear network (National Science and Technology Council (U.S.), 2016). It also heightens the confidentiality of information and thereby protect the said parson on their operation from any imminent threat. Environmental Audio It has been observed that Telstra may aid the pilots during their training as it is fitted with cocktails that augments the projection of voice. When the pilot trainee is immersed in simulated zone, they are able to communicate effectively with the party outside. This aids the trainee to have an array of simulation during the practice or training activities (Wadhwa & Harper, 2015). It is important to state that when the trainee fails to observe a particular rule in the simulator, they are deemed to crash with their plane and thereby the crashing sound or noise would be heard. Primarily, the environmental audio aids the instructor in giving out the instructions clearly to the trainee pilot in the simulator. This aids them in their training activities and able to maintain communication with their student during their crucial operations (Dyché, 2015). Moreover, there are different sounds emanating from the simulator depending on the activity that one is induced to. For instance, if the trainee lands, there is a totally different noise that they hear upon landing in their simulation (Loosemore, 2014). All this is possible due to Telstra innovation and advancements that has made it easier for pilots who area training to have ample time in their practice and experience the same scenario as if they are on the actual practice of flying the plane. Low latency Telstra is connected to headsets, speakers in ACENet distribution. It is further connected to commercial amps which greatly reduces expense on audio cabling. The low magnitude of latency On ACENet makes it to be very effective and enhances its quality in voice production. Ideally, low latency implies the enhancement of quality as resistance in the cable is reduced to allow clear communication (Paine, 2014). Additionally, the material used to make this cable has low level of resistance. It is important to note that Telstra would wish to give the best to its customers from diversified parts of the world and therefore they try to see to it that they use appropriate tools and material for their gadget. Mature products The reliability of telecommunication was enhanced or further heightened through the realization of Telstra 4. It makes easier to use it with other application of significant value. Interoperable The efficacy of interoperable has been guaranteed through the development of ASTI radios which are networked with it. Having been synchronized, telecommunication is improved through proper channelling and distribution of major information. Telstra has undergone different metamorphosis that has allowed the firm to realize incredible profits in their operations. For instance, the firm launched iPhone application in 2011 as a trial product in the market. That year it received numerous acknowledgement from different parties (High, 2014). This therefore led to multiple innovations in the subsequent years. A good example is in 2012 when the company launched Telestra Digital smartphone which encompasses Facebook application. It was evident that in the same year over 700,000 customers downloaded the said application from Telestra. Notably, Telestra made it simple for one to make payments via PayPal. This was also followed with another incredible idea of linking Facebook account with one’s personal account for efficacy of transactions (Rowe & Te'eni, 2014). Ideally, the firm initiated its loyalty duped ‘Telestra Thanks’ which enabled their customers to buy movie, sports and music tickets on their website. Process of implementation The reason as to why Telstra is excelling is because it has a clear framework and implements this policies to the latter. The process of implementation with the identification of possible risks in the firm. This was aimed at averting those threats to enable the firm to continue dispensing its activities effectively to the customers. The firm fully employs the use of risk management so as to realize its core objectives (Quinn, 2014). It has laid down the risk management policy to see to it that every employee is well acquainted with different skills and approaches on how to curb challenges that may be eminent in the organization. Similarly, the firm employs very competent personnel who are well conversant with their area. This is why the firm is able to serve its client well from the diversified parts of the Australian nation or where they have expanded their service to. Telestra has further expanded its services to other parts of the world such as Philippines and Middle East. It is due to this that they want to reach to different customers hailing from different nation for their quality services (Teece, 2013).This is in the bid to strategize well, so as to be able to be at the peak of telecommunication industry amid competition from their immediate competitor Optus which is also the second leading corporations in Australia. The corporations too employs the use of market mix which has seen it increase their services to different geographical location of the globe. The mix marketing was also incorporated with other important strategies such as carrying out periodic survey to ascertain the needs of the customer on the market. It is from this point of view that the firm was able to initiate some changes and innovation in its system by in initiating iPhone application and Facebook application which has gained impetus in the social media platform. Mergers it is important to state that Telstra is expanding its operations to Philippines a fact that has seen it merge with some firm so as to heighten and meet the customers’ needs in the global market. Telestra 4 encompasses studio, target, and ACE software and Audio I/O. This four dichotomies played a significant role in the marketability of Telestra in its venture (Moehrle, Isenmann & Phaal, 2013). All the four dimensions were intertwined in the manner that aided the telecommunication in monitoring and managing of the information and keep it confidential as it was intended to be. It has further market its brand through different platforms such as social media and through its websites. It has made it easier for access its website so that the customer would know different services they offer and new applications in the market. The reason behind the success of the corporations is that it has strong leadership who are visionary and able to embrace innovation which has greatly worked towards the prosperity of the company. Telestra is very sensitive on the issue of prices to its customers. This has been made in such a manner that it prices are very fair to all its clients and the situation has resulted to massive number of customer purchasing the said application. The bondage with its clients is another noteworthy reason for the success since they are usually able to make follow up on its customer. The innovation and creativity initiated by the company is geared towards building good cordial relationship with its customers (Sempels & Hoffmann, 2013). The firm has maintained this mutuality by developing application that meets the client’s satisfaction. The firm’s initiative to reach diversified parts of the world was its idea of opening multiple retail store network to serve the customers well. Conclusion The role that Telestra has played in telecommunication industry is noble as it has really changed the face of the society. Its recent applications such as iPhone app and Facebook app has opened doors for multiple communication activities through such gadgetry. Similarly, as it has been observed, mergers in its business has diversified its operation to other parts of the world making the firm have a global image. This study has also explicated how this application from Telestra has been instrumental for many businesses currently since payments may be easily made using this noble application developed by the company.
