Race of Nations Name: Institution: Race of Nations Introduction The vision is to make the UAE an international center for excellence and creativity. Management and leadership are critical in the realization of this vision since it will be defined by the mission of seeking the best ways of engaging in continuous study of the best ways that can be used in improving and reaching innovative solutions to enhance benefits and promote efficiency. In the process of development, it is important to realize that there will always be challenges. The magnitude of the challenges will be increasing because with great development there are greater setbacks. However, it is through effective administrative reforms that the leadership will instill optimism and confidence in the capacity of the UAE to realize is goals. This essay will summarize the major areas that UAE must develop to realize its vision Peace Growth and stability of nations in the future will depend of peace structures that these nations have been able to establish and integrate as part of their development agenda. Historically, war has been used as a tool for advancing the interest of the powerful nations against less powerful ones. Inasmuch as wars have played a role in advancing the interest of such nations, the use of peace as an alternative to conflict resolution can generate more and better development initiatives compared to war. The process of achieving sound development and political reforms can be realized through the establishment of structures that are focused on social justice. Through such structures, historical injustices that have been used as the major source of terrorism can be solved in a relatively peaceful manner. Unity within a country is only possible when the laws and polices developed by the leadership foster cooperation, equality in the distribution of resources and enhance good management practices. Through peace initiatives, it will be possible to create a secure environment that creates an investment friendly society. Furthermore, the population will be motivated towards the realization of the vision of its leadership, which is critical for societal development and progress Democracy The concept of democracy recognizes the inherent right of individuals to make a choice. This is the most effective way of governing people because it considers their input essential in their progress. The process of implementing this approach to governance must be based on the understanding that different societies are defined by different cultural, political, and economic aspect and this may require them to implement democracy according to the needs of their society. A consultative process where the people who are to be governed by this system have evaluated and have the true conviction of the underlying benefits defines an effective democratic process. Such a system must be defined by its ability to ensure advanced security, protection of rights, and moral values, providing stability and allowing freedom as enshrined in the constitution. While tailoring democratic principles according to the needs of the society, it will be important to ensure that it guarantees UAE and Arab nations permanent peace that will allow for the diversion of military spending to civil causes. In addition, it must guarantee sound development that will ensure that will ensure continuity of peace. Globalization Globalization has enabled the creation of an international economic platform that has been providing opportunities for achieving advanced levels of commercial, financial, and service oriented integration among countries. Countries are defined by differences in their flexibility and capabilities. This makes it import hat to assess their values, principle, and convictions that govern their progress when engaging on the international platform. Globalization has ensured that countries can no longer exist as isolated entities. This means that they must formulate techniques of responding to changes while maintaining their identity in terms of the protection of their moral and religious values. Globalization is an effective and highly advanced platform for long-term economic development because of its objective of integrating the global economy. The process of achieving the goals of globalization is possible through the elimination of economic barriers between nations. In addition, countries must strive towards making the global economy a more integral, efficient and highly competitive. It is through sincere cooperation between countries that economic development is realizable. A successful economy on the global platform must be able to provide its population with opportunities for job security, social development, and protection of rights. Skills Human resource is vital in propelling development in any economy. This is because through their skills and capabilities it becomes possible for a society that invests in its population to realize innovative techniques of ensuring economic development. It will be important for the UAE to upgrade education structures that foster development through a curriculum that trains the new generation in modern kinds of disciplines capable of qualifying them to be highly competitive in different fields on the global platform. When focusing on the future, it is important to consider education as a basic pillar of economic development. This is because it will be responsible for the development of a society defined by a population that is competent, and qualified and capable of dealing with future challenges that may hinder quality productivity in the future. Excellent development requires effective management of human capital. This involves the institution of measures in the education sector that will prepare the young population to lead development processes, which is critical in maintaining the country’s economic evolution. The training and education process will allow for the scouting of skills and talents that can be nurtured for future application. The vision and the future Providing relevant, valuable, and effective services to the people is the main vision of any leader. The process of realizing this vision requires the input of the people considering that they are the beneficiaries. Management and leadership are critical in the realization of the vision. Through good management practices, the leadership will undertake full surveys in different sectors of the economy to assess the existing needs and then engage a consulting body of experts who will assess the vision in terms of its political, social, and economic benefits. The consulting group of experts can provide alternative opinions, which can be used in editing the vision with the objective of achieving a consensus. An engaging vision is more realizable considering that people are assets and they will not materialize a vision unless they are certain of its validity and ability to meet their interests and expectations. Developing a vision that is all-inclusive helps in the generation of a sense of ownership considering that everyone feels that their opinion are important in realizing development in the country. The central world The central countries in the central world economic zone that include those in the GCC, central Asia, near east, Indian subcontinent and the north African counties. The history of the central world indicates that it was the birthplace of important element of the modern civilization such as science, architecture, thought, and trade. Despite the challenges that the central world has experienced it still has the potential of realizing political and socioeconomic development through the adoption of the right development formula. An effective approach will be an adoption of the development plan that has defined activities in the UAE. Countries belonging to the central world can adopt a plan on how to improve on its infrastructure, and upgrading the quality of its services while keeping pace of the radical changes in the global economy. The process of adopting this plan requires countries in the central world to tailor the plan according to their needs because these societies have different demands and needs. The Arab world The Arab world has the potential of realizing economic development because it has a common religion and a common language, which comprise some of the most important elements of building a strong nation. This world is however lacking in a common flag and a strong leadership, which are also critical for growth. The region needs visionary leadership that has the ability of developing plans that can break the barriers of economic development. Such leaders must demonstrate loyalty to the people and commitment towards the realization of the peoples’ dreams and ambitions using a clear and modern vision. An effective leadership will facilitate development because it will enhance cooperation and unity among the people hence eliminating misunderstanding. Such cooperation will be critical in pioneering growth in technology, education, culture, and manufacturing among other fields. Instead of seeking approval, the country should often advance the interest of the country in all their negotiations to ensure that they seize all the opportunities available for development. Conclusion For UAE to realize its envisioned development it needs to foster friendly investment environment, operational infrastructure, instituting reform to the legal structure and strengthening the relationship between the private and public sector. The global platform is in a dynamic and in a constant process of change. This means that for the UAE to be equally competitive it must embrace new methodologies and innovative approaches. Facilitating and complicating the concept of change in the mindset of the people will enable the leadership and the population to understand the new language of development while eliminating any misunderstandings that may hinder the envisioned growth References Āl, M.
