Both types of research play a big role in impacting instructional leadership. One of the ways is whereby one learns various strategies that can be implemented in instructional leadership. This results in diversification of the strategies hence achieving improved results. Research into practices related to instructional leadership helps understand the challenges that other stakeholders went through in their implementation of instructional leadership.

This includes the measures or strategies that they used to overcome the challenges. This impacts instructional leadership currently practiced in the sense that stakeholders are able to learn from the challenges that other people face in relation to instructional leadership. These journals thoroughly explain how instructional leadership was initiated, how it has developed and the level currently being practiced. Other issues cited in the journals include factors that have affected the development of instructional leadership. Through reading the journals, I have been able to accrue knowledge in this topic.
