The paper "Impact of the Change Program on the Organisation and Its Internal and External Stakeholders" is a great example of management coursework. Modern organizations in the world face a number of challenges with the changes that occur in the internal as well as external environment. The development of the new store will result to change in different aspects that include customers, market, organisational structure and demands among others. In this case, Waitrose will have to encounter a number of challenges while implementing the steps that would lead to a successful change.

One of the prominent consequences of change that would influence the supermarket is the change in organizational structure (Richards, 2014). Organizational structure is regarded as one of the core components of the organization, which refers to the various levels of management within the organization, encompassing the superior and subordinate members (Guldbrandsen, n. d.). Organizational structure exhibits the ability to support or ignore the change that needs to be established in the organization.

Furthermore, organizational change can be affected by the organizational structure, because of conflicting functional or divisional roles and the inability of the organization to develop a comprehensive framework that would support all the levels of an organization (Guldbrandsen, n. d.). Correspondingly, Waitrose may be influenced by the lack of sponsorship as well as priority owing to the changes occurring from the new decision-making processes that have been considered essential for the implementation of change.

Apart from changes in the decision-making process, Waitrose may also be affected by the leadership changes and the regeneration of commitments because of organizational change. In addition, Waitrose may also be affected by the change, because of the organizational interaction with others as well as the ability of the change to be aligned with the organisational processes (Waitrose, 2015).In addition, socio-political changes might also have an effect on Waitrose. Hence, it is the utmost need of the supermarket to consider the effect of socio-political changes prior to implementing change.
