Download file to see previous pages The most important thing in that organization is the mission statement “taking care of everybody and anybody” that most employees adhere to with much importance, and it helps sustain them at work. People undergo a pre-hiring period before employment. During this period, they have to talk about the core values and the same is taught to them along the way during employment so that it becomes part of their communication in the hospital environment. In order to ensure that the organizations and activities remain aligned with the core values, everybody has to know those core values when planning pillars of such values in their various departments.
A lot of staff members are supplemental, but in an effort to assist the new employees to understand the rehabilitation culture one has to present as a good role model. She confirms that a leader must physically do what they expect the staff to do and let them adapt from that; then that becomes the culture of rehab that they will emulate. It becomes very challenging to determine between two qualified candidates especially if you have two equally qualified. First, take the most senior person and then stick to your loyalty; consider the inside people before the rest. One can also extend to panel interviews that will then help determine the qualification levels of the two candidates. A leader should have the ability to listen and admit to their mistakes. Challenges most leaders face today involves the employee changes; teaching the very talented employees that development and rank do not happen overnight.
