Overview Threats and risks to the various institutions and organizations, schools not excluded are increasingly becoming dynamic and complex due to the diversity of the natural hazards that affects different institutions and the trans-institutional threats that arise from the consequences of climate change, globalized disease, terrorism, cyber-attacks, and critical infrastructure interdependencies (Perry et al. 110) Emergencies can be quickly escalating in severity and scope, cross jurisdictional lines, take on a complex dimensions and thus resulting into significant economic and human losses. Emergency Management Planning can preserve the environment, save lives, and protect the property through better understanding of uncertainty and contributing to a prosperous, sustainable, safer, and then a society which is disaster resistant and resilient. The management of emergency is a core responsibility of the various institutions, for example the Urunga Public School, besides being a collective responsibility of the different government institutions. It is crucial to take steps to promote a coordinated approach and also a highly uniform structure in order to manage emergencies through provision of appropriate guidance on how to develop emergency management plans. A coordinated approach towards emergency management planning strengthens the institutions and government departments to protect against, prevent, respond to and make recovery from the major disasters and other emergencies (Bumgarner 244). This paper gives a report analysis of the Emergency Management Plans of the Urunga Public school. This analysis takes course from perspective of two parts.
