The external dynamics of the environment is changing with every passing moment, and therefore, the single leader does not have the required brainpower in order to take the complex decisions that are involved in running and managing of any type of business in the world. The leaders have to personally grow in order to pave the way for others to do the same so that they have the sense of direction while they move in the conquest of improving themselves. The leaders cannot simply expect others to evolve in the form of better persons and professionals whereas, they sit back and relax in their luxury offices (Salas, Rosen, & King, 2007). The leaders have to get out there in the field, and prove their worth in the field along side with their staff. Healthcare industry deals with the most sensitive entity in the universe that is called human life so there is no room for creativity in the profession of health management. The professionals have to follow certain rules and procedures in order to set the ground for the physicians to take critical decisions. The pharmaceutical professionals have to operate like teams in order to fulfill every requirement of their profession adequately. Mission Statement “Mafraq Hospital is dedicated to providing quality patient care supported by clinical excellence, patient safety and is passionate and committed in ensuring the very best healthcare for those we serve”. The Maintenance of Positive and Motivational Climate in the Hospitals The nursing staff has no authority in regards of making any sort of valuable decisions that might have long-term ramifications for the patients in question. However, they have to stabilize the condition of the subject by administrating conventional chemical methods to enhance his or her well being until the doctor arrives. The nurses and pharmacists have to operate more or less like robots so they have to be given constant reassurances by the management about their ability to perform the job. The heightened self-image and belief in their professional capability are the key aspects of any healthcare professional’s personality (Parahoo, 2006). They have the profound competence to keep their emotions in check while they work in order to save lives. They have to take decisions based on their gut feelings and instinctive inclinations. In case of emergencies, they cannot help and aid all of the injured, but they have to prioritize in this regard. They have to choose those who are having maximum chances of survival, and they have to make some hard choices during the process as well. The leaders’ role in the business of healthcare and pharmacy is to provide motivational energy to underlying layers of employees because they have to operate within considerable amount of stress, and motivation is going to assist them in order to get through to the proceedings of each day. The psychological services and human resource department have to play significant and powerful role in terms of keeping the staff energized so that they can get the job done effectively. Additionally, the personal happiness levels of the employees must be maintained at the highest levels possible because sorrow can cause the judgment of the workers to become clouded, and therefore, they might experience proneness towards commitment of a mistake that can cost a patient his or her life to say the least. Personal Developmental Plan: Development of Patient Centralism in Healthcare The chemical side of the field is well developed, and therefore, there is no significant need to educate medical professionals and pharmaceutical staff in the area because they have profound ability to administrate medicines with detailed precision. However, they have a requirement to practice basic level of psychology in their work so that they can mentally motivate those who are suffering towards having a better and improved life. The medicines cannot heal the person until he or she is willing to believe in his or her chances of survival through a particular medical condition. At the same time, motivation and the power to continue fighting are a few elements that medical field cannot understand in terms of their power to cause such a rapid healing. There is notable number of cases that were diagnosed with incurable diseases, but they went on to have wonderful lives, and they were long and prosperous as well. One of the athletes who was said to be suffering from polio found a career in physical sports, and won multiple gold medals during her career. The energy of mind and spirit can be put to use in the most intriguing ways possible, but classical theory of medicine, pharmacy does not value the importance of psychological well being with reference to the help that it can render, and it renders during the process of speedy physical recovery. The modern psychology boldly states that all physical illnesses have psychological reasons in the background, and therefore, both types of interventions are required in order to get satisfactory results in the end. Additionally, the patients often complaint that the behaviors of medics remain too harsh and dry towards them and they feel like if they are missing life. They do not feeling healing at the medical facility. They incline to feel sicker with the passage of time. Assessing my Current State Following are the few descriptive statements that discuss my current professional state: - I am a junior pharmaceutical expert I have considerable amount of experience and exposure under my belt I am working at a pharmaceutical store as a salesperson Opportunities I have significant developmental opportunities if I dare to be a leader in the future Leadership skills are necessary because I am planning to start my own store in a few years I have the need to work as an employee in various organizations in my field before emerging as an entrepreneur in the industry Required Skills I need to develop my leadership skills in order to lead others in the futuristic plan of mine The teamwork is also an important weapon to have in my arsenal of competencies Action Plan Firstly, I have to understand the flow of the business, and I must know that how different departments work together in order to create success in the long­-term scenario I have to develop corporate linkages with the suppliers to have supplies and inventories for my organization in the future The employees will receive higher compensations so that they can have more organizational commitment than the usual Need to Create Living Hospitals: Impacts of Personal Developmental Plan and Process of bringing the Change The life is not only biological in nature, but it has an intangible side as well that is often left out by the hospitals, and eventually, they cause the patients to experience growing sickness during their stay with them. The creation of lively environment will go a long way in terms of expediting the healing process. The element of socialization will help the patients in returning to active life within no time. The creation of common dining hall will assist the subjects in engaging in the healthy conversations with each other. In this way, they will have the opportunity to forget their issues, and get a brief glimpse of normal life once again. The hospitals have to transform into educational facilities where older patients have the chance to share their experiences of life with the next generation. The patients do not have to abandon their passions during their stay at the hospitals, but they have to be engaged in their normal life’s adventures as soon as possible. The resource requirements of the change initiative that this paper intends to bring will change with the growing leeriness of the project. Business Case The management has to remain committed to the objectives of the moment so that they can induce improvements on the needed basis. In fundamental structure of the program, the management will ensure that a recreational room should be developed where patients can unwind and relax. The tuck shop and café will be grown within the vicinity of the healthcare center. The identity of the hospital will be redefined, the patients have to develop a bond with the hospitals, and they should receive education and food for thought as well during their stay in the healthcare center. The element of boredom from the environment of the hospital should be removed altogether because in current setting, the patients are adamant to get away from the hospital due to the overpowered presence of boredom. The researchers found out that the patients do not get along with the normal pace of life (Parahoo, 2006) because they grow lazy in the hospital, and they transfer that into their regular lives when they have to live normally. The sense and feeling of liveliness is going to become defining attribute of the culture of the modern hospitals. The hospitals have to comprehend the reality that the chemical interventions in the field of medical has everlasting ramifications for the patients, and therefore, the professionals have to integrate contemporary practice of psychology in their field of work. However, they have to apply tool of excessive happiness and pleasure as a healing method for the ill. The laughter therapy has proven healing capability in the cases with cardiovascular diseases. The tradition of meditative relaxation casts its spell in order to heal homicidal and suicidal tendencies in people. The whole purpose of modern healthcare is to help the patients in achievement of relaxation, and once they have that then, their biological functions improve. The patients have to be trained to apply positive psychology in order to lead fulfilling lives. The healthcare managers have to give the patients the gift of faith so that their fear levels can be dropped, and they must develop positive and optimistic outlook towards life. The project will be completed in three months’ period Objective 2 Communication with Others The integration of positive psychology in the conventional medical practice The lively environment will be crafted within the facility so that patients can enjoy their stay The psychiatric department has to take a deep evaluation of the leaving patients in order to measure their positivity towards life, and if they fail to meet the standards such as hope, confidence, and an explorative spirit then, their relevant treatment will continue until they show of normalization The positive psychology courses might be designed to last for six months to a year Objective 3 Decision Making Leadership roles should be disseminated in the lower ranks of the organization The pharmacies can do their jobs effectively and efficiently if the overall culture of the healthcare industry is going to change. The medicines are only a small part of the modern psycho-physical treatments that works at emotional and chemical levels at the same time The employees have to fill the survey forms about their satisfaction with the current practices of the facility, and 95% of the respondents have to convey that they are satisfied with the current culture of the organization Objective 4 Acceptance of Responsibilities and Analytical Skills The overall purpose of the plan is to assist the integration of happiness in the lives of the ill and the staff as well The management has to bestow the staff with the power to take instinct decisions so that they can feel empowered about their ability to perform assigned tasks The humans are power hungry creatures and therefore, they have to gain significant political power in the organization and they can have that if their superiors are willing to delegate authority to them The education of practicalized nature about analytical skills should be given to employees on regular basis, and every student has to receive 75% marks in order to pass the course The management will decide about the timeframe of the courses The employee questionnaires will have a section about leadership behaviors of the managers, and 75% of the respondents have to find their leaders’ performance to be satisfactory The evaluation of leadership skills will take place every month Relation of Employee Satisfaction with Organizational Goals The humans have an automated ability to watch their self-interest, and they suffer from psychological contract breach if their organizational expectations are not met to a fuller extent. However, the organizations are offering monetary and nonmonetary rewards in order to motivate their employees to give their best at their jobs (Cimellaro, Reinhorn, & Bruneau, 2011). The organizations have to give their employees the message that they care about their workforce. The organizational culture of successful commercial entities such as Google can teach a lot about the process of applying the sense of life in the setup. The healthcare and pharmaceutical industry is lagging behind in this regard, but time is rather nearing when they have to modify their organizational culture, structure, and philosophy in order to reflect magnificent changes in their operational model that remained untouched far too long, and the strategic changes in the industry are overdue. The project proposed by the work is placing the first brick of the social construction of novel setup of healthcare. Assessing Staff Welfare The employees must be asked to fill out a form that will consist of questions about their organizational and job commitment in order to see if their emotional and professional bond is significantly connected with the organization or not. Various versions of job and organizational commitment questionnaires are available, and anyone of the instruments can assist the management in measuring quality of their workforce’s relation with the healthcare providers. The management should call upon the employees to provide their feedback about the current operations of the facility, and the employees must be asked to define ways and methods that can be applied to attain further improvement. Conclusion This paper registered a plan that can be used in order to improve the operationality of healthcare facilities in terms of helping the patients in the due process of healing. However, the quality of staff welfare will be measured by the monthly conduction of employee surveys. In short, the creation of lively organizational systems in the hospitals that have earned fame about their capability to kill people due to absence of excitement will serve as a visionary statement for newest form of healthcare.
