However, stakeholder might be internal or external to the organization. The most essential stakeholders of an organization or team might be the customers or the clients. The prime stakeholders, involved within an organization are customers, clients, suppliers, employees, local community, investors, competitors and government. All these above mentioned stakeholders play a vital role for an organization operating in the segment of retailing food products as well as for the head of sales department. This is because; all of these stakeholders are directly responsible for accomplishing the objectives and goals of the team of executives of the food retailing organization. The objectives of the team of executives of the sales department are presented below: Offering good quality of products to the target customers Offering qualitative products at competitive prices Attaining superior quality of raw materials Presenting a good purchasing experience to its customers Offering value-aided products to the customers1 However, in order to accomplish these above mentioned objectives, all the stakeholders need to offer extensive support and assistance to the sales team. For example: the suppliers of the organization of food retailer need to offer best quality of products so as to maintain the brand image and reputation of the organization as compared to other rival players. However, if the suppliers become successful in presenting best quality of products, then the reliability of the customers might get enhanced and the market share might get amplified among competitors. Moreover, the organization need to maintain its operations as per the rules and regulations of the government, only then it might operate successfully in a region for a long time. However, if the organization operates in the above way, then the objectives of the sales department of a food retailer might get accomplished. For example: if best quality of products is supplied at best price then the total sale might get enhanced and the profit margin of the stakeholder may be increased. Answer 1.3 The work plans of the sales team is presented below so as to meet the stakeholder’s needs and requirements. Along with this, the agreements of the suppliers might get increased by the management of the organization thereby amplifying its profitability and market value among others4. Answer 1.4 In order to meet the needs and requirements of the stakeholders, it is extremely essential to evaluate and modify the work plans. Otherwise, it may not be possible for the organization to enhance its prosperity and brand value in the market among many other rival players. However, due to the improvement of the total sale of the products, the amount of orders to the suppliers may also get enhanced to a significant extent as compared to others. Task 2 Answer 2.1 In order to fulfil the requirements and demands of the stakeholders of an organization operating in the segment of retail of food products, the macro environmental variable, and technology might be the best tool. This is because; implementation of varied types of advanced technological materials or machines, might offer significant influence over the development and growth of the organization of food retail. For example: implementation of wireless devices, electronic shelf labelling, self check out machines, intelligent scales etc proved extremely beneficial for the customers of the organization as well as the employees. This is because; the shopping became more advanced and convenient for the customers that enhanced their satisfaction and reliability as compared to others. Moreover, due to improvement of the customer satisfaction rate, the profitability and productivity of the organization increased. As a result of which, the brand position and competitiveness of the organization increased in the market that amplified its sustainability and dominance. This success increased the bonuses and incentive rates of the employees of the organization5. Thus, it might be clearly revealed that due to implementation of advanced technologies, stakeholders such as customers and employees of the organization. Answer 2.2 The organization of food retail needs to implement varied types of training sessions for the employees in order to amplify their inner skills and attitudes to tackle the customers effectively. Along with this, with the help of these training sessions, the employees might also become skilled in using the newly implemented technological devices so as to increase the pleasure of shopping. Other than training sessions, highly experienced and talented staffs are also recruited within the organization of food retail in order to amplify its dominance and reliability in the market among others5. Apart from these resources, the organization also needs to include, substantial amount of physical as well as informational resources as well, in order to support such improvements. Along with this, a huge amount of fixed cost is also required in order to implement the above mentioned advanced tools and technologies. It is done, in order to amplify the total sale and profitability of the organization. Answer 2.3 Due to the implementation of various advanced technologies such as wireless devices, electronic shelf labelling, shelf check out machines etc, the organization and its stakeholders attained a huge range of benefits. Cost efficiency: the efficiency of work of the employees increased due to the implementation of the above mentioned advanced devices. As a result of which, the level of performance and commitment over the assigned tasks increased significantly. Customer satisfaction: the rate of satisfaction of the customers increased to a considerable extent due to the implementation of such type of advanced machines. Improvement of work: the intensity of work enhanced due to the implementation of electronic shelf labelling that proved extremely effective for the organization of food retail in this age among others. Improvement of profitability: due to implementation of shelf check out machines, the cost of placing a security in the exit may be saved. As a result of which, the rate of profitability of the organization increased. Improvement of the inner morale of the employees: due to the implementation of varied types of advanced technologies, the inner morale and commitment of the employees might get enhanced that may enhance the performance of the organization6. Thus, from these above mentioned points, it might be clearly observed that implementation of advanced technologies proved extremely effective for the organization thereby amplifying its leadership and position in the market. Along with this, the level of reliability and trust of the customers also increased due to such advanced technologies. Hence, it might be stated that in order to improve the position and competitiveness among the stakeholders, technological changes is essential. Task 3 Answer 3.1 At the time of implementation of a new technology or machinery within the organization, the employees have to bear huge impact. This is because; the employees have undertake varied types of training sessions as well as work-shop sessions in order to analyse its effectiveness. Only then, the employees might become successful in handling the newly developed machines within the organization and might enhance their performance levels. Along with this, by knowing all the effects of the machinery, the efficiency of the work of the employees of the organization might get enhanced that may increase its productivity and profitability. Furthermore, if the change such as implementation of electronic shelf labelling is accepted by all the employees then it might offer positive results such as improvement of customer satisfaction, customer reliability, loyalty and trust. As a result of which, the brand value and dominance of the organization of food retail might get enhanced in this aggressive market as compared to many other rival players. However, in case, the change of implementation of electronic shelf labelling is not accepted then it may lead to interpersonal conflicts, lock outs, clashes etc among the management and employees. As a result of which, the turnover rates of the employees might get enhanced that may reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization in the market among others. Therefore, it might be revealed that, in order to implement any new change effectively, it need to be presented in a detailed manner in front of the employees so as to evaluate its effectiveness in long run. Only then, it might be implemented in an accurate way. Answer 3.2 The prime components of a case for change are presented below: The employees: the employees act as the prime components of any change. This is because; it’s the employees who need to be fully accepted with the positive and negative effects of that change. For example: implementation of electronic shelf labelling device is a machine that might prove effective for the employees of the organization of food retail to increase their amount of work. The executive or the individual responsible for labelling the products might be assigned varied other responsibilities that may prove effective in improvement of his inner skills and morale. However, due to improvement of the inner morale, his or her career options. However, if such type of benefits might be analysed by the employees, then the change would surely be accepted by him or her. The customers: however, if the customers are satisfied and pleased with the advanced technique or technology then, the changed case might surely present positive results. However, this might surely prove effective in amplification of the profitability and productivity of the organization in the market as compared to others. The investors: if the investors are also accepted with the effects of the change then, the change would surely be fruitful for the organization in long run among other rival contenders7. Thus, it might be stated clearly that if all these above mentioned components remain in the positive side of the change, then the change would surely present positive results for the organization. So, prior implementing any change, it is extremely essential to offer proper information to all these above mentioned components of the organization. Answer 3.3 A case of change is implemented within the organization so as to improve the profitability and productivity of the organization. Along with this, a change is also implemented in order to fulfil the objectives of a team in an effective way such as improvement of total sales, improvement of total revenues etc. Keeping this view, the electronic shelf labelling device is implemented with the organization of food retail. However, by doing so, the level of satisfaction and reliability of the customers increased that improved their buying behaviour. However, this became possible only due to the convenience and pleasure attained by the customers at the time of shopping8. As a result of improvement in the opportunities of shopping, the attitudes of the customers enhanced to a significant extent as compared to many others. Other than this, due to improvement of the rate of satisfaction of the customers, the profit margin of the organization might be increased that may increase the portfolio and brand value of the organization. However, due to improvement of brand value of the organization, the commitment and dedication of the employees might be increased. Other than this, due to electronic shelf labelling, the level of inner trust of the customers over the prices of the products of the organization might get amplified. This might also offer a significant impact over the total sale and productivity of the organization. Thus, it would surely be advantageous for the organization of food retail. But in order to make the change, fully effective, its effects needs to be discussed among all employees so as to reduce any sort of dilemma. Answer 3.4 In order to, review or monitor the effects of a change its better to analyse its results, effectively after two or three months, after implementation. For example: in order to analyse, whether implementation of electronic shelf labelling device, proved effective or not, the total sale and total revenue of the organization might be viewed. Moreover, the feedbacks of the customers also need to be analysed or evaluated at the time of purchasing their products or the type of supports requested from the executives. Only that basis, the effectiveness of the change might be evaluated1. Moreover, if the level acceptance of customers and employees is entirely balanced with one another, then it would surely prove effective results for the organization in near future. Thus, it might be clearly stated that in order to amplify the level of profitability and prosperity of the organization, all the stakeholders need to be fully accepted with the effects of the change. Only then, it might be implemented effectively within the organization thereby accomplishing the objectives and goals of the organization or teams. Otherwise, it may not be possible for an organization to attain positive results after implementing any change. Reflective Statement This assignment mainly highlights the importance of a stakeholder for an organization and how it affects its productivity and profitability in the market. For example, customer is one of the most important stakeholders of an organization and it offers a significant impact over the organizational productivity and total sale. If the customers do not like any particular implemented change, then the organization may not retain it for long. This is because; then the buying behaviour of the customers might get hampered resulting in decline of total productivity of the organization. Apart from this, the important of a change is also analysed in this assignment. If a change is implemented successfully, then it would surely offer positive results such as improvement of customer base, improvement of total sale, improvement of brand image etc. But in order to make it effective in mature, the organizational management need to present its positive effects in front of its stakeholders so as to attain their acceptance and trust. Otherwise, it may prove effective for the organization in long run. Therefore, it is quite revealed that, in order to make any change effective, total cooperation is necessary from the stakeholders of the organization.
