Human Resource Management Task: Human Resource Management In our organization, the Human Resource organization is administrative type and it overlooks the welfare of employees. On that note, the title of the top HR person is referred to as administrative resource officer and he reports to the CEO. This person monitors all the recruit, selection and remuneration package of the workers (Hollenbeck, Gerhart & Wright, 2010). This has enabled most of the HR professionals in our organization to get involved in strategic management roles that crucial in the company.

These include presenting the grievances and labor problems of the workforce to the management. This essay is going to analyze the factors involved in Human Resource Management, and other related implications (Rowden, 1999). There are many reasons why the employees of Southwest employees are among the most loyal and committed in the industry. For instance, they get promotions for a job well done especially when it enhances the productivity of the company (Rowden, 1999). Similarly, the workers receive daily motivations form the management on the pleasure of owning the duties in the organization.

Additionally, these workers receive awards as a gratitude for serving the company in a certain capacity. On the point of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), there are several lessons I leant from their resources (Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2010). For example, in the element of increasing incentives employees after a certain period of the year is encouraging and should be adopted by companies. Similarly, the provision of rewards to hard working workers by the management every end of the year is essential if implemented in our companies.

I do not think affirmative action has outlived its usefulness as an employment policy and hence should be encouraged. For instance, statistics indicate that about 34% of women have been employed in various firms as compared to 25% in the last two years. This has enabled many women to occupy plum positions of leadership in the government and private sector. Additionally, Affirmative action has allowed minority groups to be considered in most job recruitments and selections (Rowden, 1999). Therefore, increased productive has been noted by most HR firms in terms of increased sales and profit.

This is as a result of women who are known to work hard in their duties. From the videos, I have learned that the way the management treats its employees is paramount in promoting productivity. Similarly, it is the duty of the top management to inspire its workers so that they can improve their output. However, there were many surprises in the video such as the aspect of promoting young workers who exemplify efficiency is not easy to note in most firms (Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2010). In other words, increasing the incentives of workers will inspire managers to increase resources of the organization to boost efficiency.

However, sexual harassment policy at my work place is strict and without any hindrance for the employees. On that note, communication is conventions of regular meetings at the end every month to sensitize the workforce on the benefits respecting members of the opposite sex in the organization to enhance output (Rowden, 1999). Therefore, improvements that should be implemented include severe punishment for violators to prevent others from committing the same offence in the organization. In conclusion, workers and management should strive to work in harmony in order to give the HR office easy time (Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2010).
