Contribution of Management Protocol to Manufacturing Enterprise Organizational management has been an issue in many organizations. Generally, management is the proper coordination and organization of various sectors of business enterprise (Waddell 171). It involves consolidating people’s ideas, thought, and views to attain goal set by business enterprise. It therefore, means that, for a business venture to prosper, it has to incorporate the contributions of its employees. U.S Bureau of Census records indicate that, managerial and professional employment have a huge share in the domestic labor force. The report goes ahead to reveal that, managerial and professional employment figures grew by 940,000 in 1999. It was a remarkable increase as compared to the previous statistics. The report notes that, schoolteachers, lawyers, social, computer scientist, and computer system analysts, where the chief contributors of this growth. Evident from this is that managerial occupations are on the increase in business enterprises (Godwin 7). This report therefore endeavors to document the contribution of management protocol to manufacturing enterprises and to provide a conclusion from an informed position. Manufacturing enterprise is one of the leading sectors in the growth of U.S economy. The core activities of this enterprise involve conversion of raw materials into finished products. In addition, it engages in fixing the manufactured parts into a more sophisticated and useful products. To maintain a strong output, the manufacturing company factions into administration and research and development. The administration comprises of management, payroll, and accounting sub-factions. Management is vital for proper running of the business (Waddell 231). It is therefore prudent enough for the management to execute its roles effectively. To achieve this with certainty and precision, the managerial sector has to follow a given enterprise protocol. It employs databases systems such as oracle. Database management is critical to a growth of manufacturing enterprise. Security of company’s information is very important. In the light of increasing fraudulent activities, keeping a strong database has many benefits inherent with it. To start with, the oracle management system helps to keep good customer relations with the manufacturing enterprise. Customers are the backbone of every enterprise. Maintaining customers require efficient communication system. Through proper keeping of customers, information and follow up, manufacturing companies have substantially increased their profits. In addition, the manufacturing enterprises expand her operations to reach many parts. Moreover, the system allows the company to analyze properly the history of transactions with their customers (Waddell 232). Manufacturing enterprise can predict their future of their customers based on their past records. To the company, the management protocols help them in their forward thinking. The manufacturing company can re-adjust to keep the royal customers, and respond to the low-profit customers. In the light of risks experienced in manufacturing enterprise, the management protocols are useful to reduce them. Oracles enable the company to manage wastes, which is inherent in a manufacturing process. This ensures maximum utilization of the raw materials, which in turn increases company’s profit margins. This has enabled manufacturing products to remain competitive in the market. This eliminates the tedious manual inspection. It therefore means that quality compliant product will swiftly enter into the supply. A management protocol such as Oracle Process Manufacturing Quality Management eases the inspection process. This ensures that, the manufacturing company meets the expectations of their esteemed customers (Godwin 10). With the inevitable wave of globalization and unparalleled technological expansion, the management protocol is an asset to manufacturing enterprise. Oracle management system has helped the manufacturing enterprise to source important information for it prospect to expand to the whole world. It can determine the prices of raw materials, logistics costs, and other requirements necessary for the health of the enterprise in its prospective countries (Goyal 8). In addition, through use of management protocols, the enterprise can evaluate individual nation’s operative regulation. With this knowledge, the enterprise can decide whether it is favorable environment for their business. Moreover, Oracle management system allows the company to constant observes their local requirements. Waddell et. al. alludes that management protocol ensures faster sharing of information (230). This does not only happen within the manufacturing enterprise but also with the outside the company premises. They aid in collection of information, analysis, and dissemination. This information is very crucial because it encourages investments in the manufacturing enterprise. With the facts about the manufacturing enterprise, the prospective investors can evaluate and decide whether to invest in the enterprise (Waddell 233). Some of the information shared through oracle management system includes, enterprise profit margins, accrued interest, companies performance in the stock markets, and its assets. Enterprise projections and market guidance information is presented. It severs to guide external stakeholders. This promotes transparent and maintains the reputation of the company at high scores. Godwin in his publication notes that, management protocols give a chance to understand market dynamics (8). This is an important step in strategizing, defining, and refining the manufacturing enterprise goals. This enables the enterprise, to know their competitor’s new products and consumer needs. This monitoring system with useful insights allows the enterprise to takes the necessary steps in order to maintain its strong footing. The manufacturing enterprise can only source this information through management protocols. They can then re-invent their market strategies to counteract these market challenges. In his book still, Godwin says that management protocols help in preparation of enterprise financial documents with precision and accuracy (7). They have accounting solution that manages costs in their manufacturing process. System such as standard costing gives an up to dates of cost accounting. Oracle sub ledger provides comprehensive accounting figures for analytical purposes. The product of these solutions complies with standards laid down in this sector. This serves to place manufacturing enterprise in the highest ranks in the globe. In addition to this, Oracle manufacturing suite is used in warehouse operation. In this case, management protocols help to keep the warehouse in the right environmental conditions. Some of the condition controlled include, temperature and humidity. This avoids spoilage and maintains the shelf life of these manufactured goods. Management protocols provide a safe data storage in manufacturing enterprises. Manufacturing enterprises embraces the era of technological advancement. Database becomes a solution to correct the inefficiencies which manual data entry poses. Electronic data management allows transfer of this information from the manufacturing enterprise to authorities such as the U.S Food and Drug Administration. The authority monitors to ascertain adherence of its rules and regulations. The manufacturing enterprises share their safety data with the authority through the management protocol (Godwin 8). Manufacturing enterprise is aware that, satisfactory and timely delivery of products is paramount to their success. With this knowledge, a management protocol facilitates achievement of this goal with much ease. Goyal highlights some of examples such as they aid in designing, improving, and accelerate the movement of this product to the market place (10). Oracle enables the manufacturing enterprise to design pilot studies and experiment on prospective mechanism, which can fasten manufacturing process. The results of these studies direct the manufacturing enterprise to improve on processing. Through the error detection mechanism, oracle can trace the ingredients that may be missing in a given product formulation. Increase in production has a positive impact on the profit margins of the manufacturing enterprise. Management protocol, according to Goyal increases the speed of processing customer orders (6). This is because customers can make negations with the manufactures online. This saves the procurement department from the long negotiations that might emanate from manual prepared orders. Through oracle management, customers can give their preferred products. At the same time, they get an instant feedback. This makes accurate deliveries that satisfy customers’ choice and taste. This helps the manufactures to improve their products. In this way, the manufacturing process is customer-focused (Goyal 8). This in turn leads to high stock turnover with overall profit margins. It evident that, management protocols has contributed positively to the growth of the manufacturing enterprise. Manufacturing enterprises that have embraced the use of protocols such as Oracles have a strong footing in this era of technology. The manufacturing enterprise has streamlined its processes from the raw material entry point to the product exit. Moreover, the management systems have facilitated an elaborate mechanism for follow up of the product. Through Oracle, the manufactures have a close-knit relationship with their customers. Proper keeping of records in the strong databases of manufacturing company enables the manufactures to predict customer trends. This is only possible through the management protocols. The positive contribution of oracle in the manufacturing enterprise is a wake up call for the other enterprises to adopt it. For them to remain relevant and globally competitive, they need to invest a lot in the management protocols. It is the best way to growth any enterprise or business venture.
