It also outlines that scientific methods are mainly used in the testing hypothesis in organizations behavior, and it embraces a multidisciplinary approach in the real world situations. Organization behavior is important in understanding how people behave in an organization, and other relationships expected within the organization which will improve productivity.
Organizational behavior is defined as shared values and beliefs that influence the behaviors of individual members. Diversity is an aspect that is concerned with hiring employees in terms of ethnicity, religion, age, and gender. Behaviors in an organization exist in two forms; formal and informal.The former is well outlined and the latter is spontaneous. Organizational efficiency is how people are performing well in an organization. Lastly, organizational learning is how the organization is able to adapt quickly to the threats and opportunities.
The article outlines the Maslow theory where the psychological needs like excretion, safety needs involve the security of the people and resources, love and belonging involve freedom of associations and friendships. While esteem needs involve freedom and respect within the organization, self-actualization needs are an allowance for solving problems.
