The Demand to Reduce the Number of Resources Required for the Project - Essay Example

There are two options that we can do about the shortage in resource allocation.  First, I can ask the client to consult her organization about the necessity of having such resources to satisfy all the requirements of the project.  This may need time and could hurt the work schedule so I will adjust the work breakdown schedule accordingly.

            If the first option will not work and the client can only allocate a limited resource, then we have to work within the budget given by the client.  I will then have to ask the client for us to revisit her project requirement because our resources cannot satisfy the present project requirement.  We have to review her project requirements and will work within her resources.  I have to inform her that there may some aspects of the project that cannot be done due to a shortage of resources.
