News Talk Critique It took magnanimous strides for me to make news presentations in and in front of two people at the Centre for Business Communication (CBC). An analysis from the presentations reveals that I tactfully established eye contact with the audience. This assisted in capturing their interest and attention. The use of note cards to summarize the presentation served as an essential presentation tool. However, nervousness undermined my articulation. Consequently, the presentation lacked in clarity and failed to capture the audience. Moreover, my voice was shaky and my memory inefficient.
The two presentations depicted varying characteristics. The first one, presented in class, received dismal responses from the audience. In particular, the class showed a lack of interest in the topic and consistently failed in answering questions posed after the presentation. Their response indicated that I lacked confidence, eloquence and clarity. The information was not well understood. The second presentation received a small audience of two at the Centre for Business Communication. In this presentation, I was more confident, composed and articulate. The audience’s response was positive with questions being answered. Despite feeling nervous, the audience took no note of fear.
In the next year, I hope to improve my presentation skills. The particular areas of focus are essential in public presentation. The first is confidence boosting which will allow me to have composure during presentations. Eloquence will facilitate the dissemination of information in a clear and precise manner. Moreover, I will seek to present in front of several individuals to reduce my stage fright. Developing good memory skills will boost the quality of my presentations as the bulk of information will be remembered. Lastly, I will endeavour to develop a controlled voice without shaky notes. This plan will culminate into improved presentation skills. Read More

In the review, Oates speaks of an earlier draft story with rather too explicit title death and the maiden (Rubin and Larry 50). Despite Oates intriguing comments regarding her original title and the German engraving, scant attention is to give the other remarks explaining concerning the early draft. ...from the young age that they have to dress up in the so-called Barbie manner etc. Director of the documentary has used footages of news bulletin where the subject of plastic surgery was most important and not the increasing inflation rate (Newsom, 2011). The patriarchy involved against the women has been well indicated in the film where young girls talk about intellect that is more associated with men instead of women. The documentary beholds the message that it is the era of capitalism that has highlighted and focused on the beauty and physical appearance of the girls rather than their achievements and skills. The political intervention is not the only concept on which the director has stressed in the...

...unable to point out the deficiency inherent in the model; the model has however been challenged recently as it has failed to explain the current flow phenomenon in the lithium ion batteries. This discovery surfaced when a cell containing a carbon coated porous electrode was used to analyze the validity of the old concept; while the older model failed to explain the results, the Marcus-Hush-Chidsey theory successfully explained the flow of energy within the battery. This theory gives a new insight into the phenomenon of flow of energy in a battery and relates it to rate of flow of electrons between carbon coating and porous electrode. ...Movie Review Movie Review In as much as the two TED talk shows were exceptionally insightful, I found the presentation d your body language shapes who you are by social psychologist Amy Cuddy conclusive, hence more convincing. My inference is drawn from the fact that the speaker routinely involves the audience and employs images to drive her point home. Similarly, Amy Cuddy is zealous, and this is corroborated by the manner in which she begins the session and takes her interaction with the audience from one level to another. Overtime, people have held the ideology that the presentation content is of much significance; nonetheless, I hold the opinion that the style of presentation is more important, as it goes a long way...
