Employees who work in bigger companies possess an advantage over their counterparts, to the extent that they are not subjected to stern supervision, which hinders creativity and individual performance of the employee.The risks of hiring a former criminal are imminent to any company. Indeed, the reputation of the company is always at stake, and the former criminal may tarnish the good name of the company.

On the other hand, companies may be sceptic to hire such individuals, and prefer those with better records to reduce negative influences in the workplace. Indeed, such individuals may be influenced or affected by their former patterns of behaviour and as a result may commit more unworthy acts in the workplace, as well as insubordination.The rewards of hiring such a person are to the extent that it helps the society reform individuals and lead to positive behaviour change.
