The industry is attractive but has certain pre-requisites such as induction of well-trained, well-educated and highly skilled workforce that has the ability to adapt to the changing market needs, requirements and innovations. In short, specialization is essential for employees who would play a major role in the survival, growth, and sustainability of businesses. Weak Specialists who lack knowledge would fail to provide pertinent and accurate services (and products) to other businesses instead of eradicating their inefficiencies that would not shatter the confidence of other businesses but also sabotage the business reputation and goodwill of service provider.
Today, the business environment has become very challenging, unclear and unpredictable; therefore, businesses are looking for outsourcing, safety, consultation, IT and other miscellaneous services from professionals. Hence, there is an immense room for growth and reaping financial benefits for business service providers. Secondly, the business growth of existing clients and their strategy to go global will also create an opportunity for Cintas to expand its operations from USA and Canada to all across the globe.
Also, some businesses may also come-up with lawsuits against ‘business services’ providers that may hurt their reputation. Heavy Capital investment is also required to update one’s machinery and IT types of equipment with the passage of time. Some, small service providers with weak financial position may not be able to compete and match the industry trends and requirements of their potential clients. The tough economic conditions, deep recession and financial crises in 2009 forced the businesses to close their respective businesses.
