From manuscripts to electronic records: a corroborated change - Essay Example

My change project basically deals with the important trends in the usage of electronic documentation systems in health clinics and the implications these trends have on the workers themselves. Indeed, information technology plays a very important factor in sustaining several industries and the health industry is not exempt from the benefits derived from such information technology, with the focus being on electronic documentation. In this project , I introduced the electronic system in our General practioner clinic as change in a simple organization.

and I monitored how was the reduction in cost and wastage  of the paper and how the work efficacy improved by speeding up the patient care process. I used both Lewin's Model and the HSE Change Model and how both of these will help me in introducing the electronic system into our clinic. A very special thank you goes out to Dr. Ismail Khalil (Technical CEO), my accommodating supervisor. The progression and the flow of the program went by smoothly thanks to help and support. I am very grateful for his cooperation and for his patience in helping me all the way.

Without the enthusiasm and imagination of the team, the projects undertaken would amount to nothing. I also would like to extend my deepest thanks to Mr. Sorish and Miss Sonia (an exceptional IT specialist) for helping me out throughout this project. I have a deeper level of respect for both of them and will always be grateful for their kindness and all their help. I feel equal gratitude towards the members of my faculty who have also extended their help and support in helping me achieve my goals to accomplish this project.
