The baby boomers, generation X and generation Y employees are most likely to stay loyal to the company provided that they are happy and satisfied with their current job. To improve the existing employee retention strategies of Sanofi, this study highly recommends the need to explore the advantages of work-and-life balance. By offering work flexibility arrangements such as work from home, flexitime, and job sharing, the company can have more power in attracting more highly promising and highly competitive employees from generation Y.
Sanofi is a global pharmaceutical company that is committed in discovering, developing and distributing a wide-range of therapeutic products such as vaccines that could protect the immunized individuals against 20 different infectious diseases and medicines that could effectively solve health problems related to atrial fibrillation, atherothrombosis, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, central nervous system (CNS) disorders, medical aesthetics, mental health disorders like schizophrenia, epilepsy and bipolar disorder, metabolic disorder, oncology, and deep vein thrombosis (Sanofi 2012a, b, c, d).
