Obese children are in most cases underrated by their counterparts in school. The school environment should offer numerous opportunities for pupils to have the benefit of physical activity outside of physical education classroom, as well as recess phases for amorphous play in basic schools, after-school line up, intramural exercise instruction programs, and physical activity clubs. These chances are particularly important because they are easily accessible to all pupils, together with those who are not flexibly talented and those with exceptional health care needs like the obese pupils. Implementation of school rules against pupils who bully and insult their obese peers. This will assist to reduce such cases that cause stress and uneasiness among obese pupils. The teacher should also liaise with the parents to deal with kid’s obesity (Barbour, 2011). In conclusion, teachers play a vital role in the psychological development of children. They spend a lot of time with the children and understand the challenges obese children go through. The essay has also addressed different ways to deal with these challenges effectively. Teachers will as well understand challenges that they are most likely to face when handling pupils with obesity.
