The new technology based systems have made our lives much easier and simple to manage. The emergence of ICT (information and communication technology) has changed the whole world and made enhanced business and corporate transformations all through the world. The new technology based systems have turned out to be one of the main needs for business and corporate handling and management (Turban et al., 2005), (Assimakopoulos, 1989) and (Davenport & Brooks, 2004). In this scenario the business of Strathfield Health Centre (SHC) the corporate management has decided to establish a new technology based system at the business working and operational areas. In this regard we are intended to plan and give some of main recommendations regarding the SHC new comprehensive information system technology implementation at the business that could support SHC staff in performing their duty. Here I will present some of main recommendation and assistance for better handling and application of the new technology at the corporate. 2- HISTORY OF SHC The corporate setup of Strathfield Health Centre (SHC) was established in 2003 through 6 young doctors in 1994. This Healthcare Centre was aimed to offer comprehensive healthcare facilities at the Strathfield region. The Strathfield Healthcare Centre has offer comprehensive facilities and support to local people and turnout to be one of main Healthcare Centre at the Strathfield region. In this scenario this Strathfield region setup has facilitated some of main areas of health care areas like surgery, routine health check, single-purpose rooms for examination and treatment, x-ray, and physical therapy. 3- CURRENT BUSINESS PROCESS Strathfield Health Centre (SHC) is serving from lot of years and presently has established a well recognized establishment at the local community. With the potential increase in the local population of the Strathfield region in pasty few year there become a huge need emerged regarding extension of the Strathfield Healthcare Centre setup. In this scenario the administration of the centre has decided to incorporate more Humana Resources for the better handling and management of the overall Strathfield Health Centre working aspects and areas. This will be a huge project that involves the extension of all type of facilities at the Strathfield Health Centre and better handling of all these areas. However in this project one of main aspects is the establishment of a technology based formwork at the corporate working and operational areas. In this scenario this new business working set-up will completely digitalize the Strathfield Health Centre working and operational areas. The Strathfield Health Centre has different departments. The main departments include in-door/outdoor patient’s examination, surgery, routine health check, single-purpose rooms for examination and treatment, x-ray, and physical therapy. In this scenario business is also having insurance based business revenue generation process. This business has contact with more than 30 health insurance companies those are offering health care support to business staff. However business is also generating overall revenue through customary health care facilities offering to local community. 4- REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS In this section I will present the requirements analysis of the Strathfield Health Centre for application of new technology based system at the business areas. In this scenario I will outline Functional requirements, User/stakeholders requirements and Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements. 4.1- Functional requirements Functional requirement are about the main system working and operational requirements those are required for the overall business working and systems handling. Here I have outlined some of main functional requirements. 4.1.1- Data Recording and Digitalization At the Strathfield Health Centre one of main requirements of business system is to establish an automated information technology based system that can record and process to overall corporate data and information. In this scenario following main areas are demanding information technology and data recording based facilities for the business: (Abdul-Gader, 1997), (Laudon & Laudon, 1999) and (Lucey, 2005) Patient’s data and personal information recording Doctor’s data and personal information recording Health Centre working staff data and personal information recording Daily check schedule data recording Stock data recording Staff payments data recording Economic investments and expenditures data recording Clients and suppliers data recording Insurance companies profiling 4.1.2- Scheduling Strathfield Health Centre is having extensive requirements regarding the overall scheduling of the patients meetings with doctors and physical therapists. In this case below I have highlighted some of main requirements regarding scheduling: Meetings scheduling Health care session arrangement Doctor’s routine plans Patients tracking Shifts management 4.1.3- Reporting At Strathfield Health Centre we can have reporting requirements and aspects. In this scenario we would require business working and operational reporting for improved performance and operations. Here below we are having main reporting requirements: Weekly reports Monthly Report Annual Reports Routine daily reports Financial reports Assessments and liabilities reports Clients and Insurance companies reports Payment reports Performance reports Etc. 4.1.4- Analysis In case of business potential enhancement there is need for the establishment of some mechanism that can effectively handle and manage the overall business and corporate decision support and working analysis. In this scenario we are aimed to analyse some of the main aspects and areas those need constant attention. Through the new technology based system there is vital need for the establishment of such system that can offer support to corporate management for comprehensive analysis of the business issues and aspects. 4.1.5- Economic Management In case of corporate economic management we are having below given functional requirements: Assessment handling Cost expenditures management Staff payment management Patient payments management Clients and Insurance Company’s payments management 4.1.6- Communication This new technology based system for the Strathfield Health Centre is aimed to offer communication among all corporate departments and areas. In this scenario the main need of this communication is to reduce possible information load to business staff and reduce corporate expenditures through less data duplication. 4.2-User/stakeholders requirements In case of Strathfield Health Centre User/stakeholders are having different needs and requirements. In this scenario there is a vital need for management of these main requirements. Here below I have outlined some of main requirement: Doctors time scheduling Patients meeting scheduling Staff shifts scheduling Staff payments management Clients and Insurance Company’s communication and issues management Enhanced support to business areas 4.3- Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements In case of Strathfield Health Centre we are also having some Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements those are outlined below: User friendly working system Easy data handling Error free information handling Data security and issues management Bugs reporting and handling Less dirty data Corporate communication Business analysis Less data duplication Cost reduction through zero or less paper work Overall Information Digitization Superior control on corporate services User authentication Business extension management 5- PROBLEMS FOUND/IDENTIFIED In this section I will outline some of the main issues and aspects those are found in the overall corporate traditional working and operational handling: 5.1- Dirty Data The present paper based approach of the Strathfield Health Centre is based on rigid data handling. This approach is more complex, costly and time consuming. Such approach offers huge load on the business staff in case of overall data and information handling. 5.2- Long Searching time At visit of any loyal patient to health centre at Strathfield, staff members need to search out their files from huge data record to attend him. The same case goes more complex in patient is insured and having some insurance clam regarding health services. In this scenario there is need for searching two files from huge data records. In this scenario the overall situation goes more complex. 5.3- Data Duplication In case of Strathfield Health Centre there is huge data duplication regarding patients, doctors, payments, reports and Clients and Insurance Company’s claim. Such data duplication requires higher staff working and operation. That leads to more time consuming operations and data handling. 5.4- Low Communication In case of current rigid and time consuming approach of Strathfield Health Centre there is need for more data transfer and duplication that leads to high costs and time consumption. The low communication is requiring more data duplication. This all lead to more lowered data handling and management performance. 5.5- Higher Costs Higher costs of current business handling are also a big issue in the overall business and corporate management. These us more higher cost for more human resource, paper working and data transfer. These cost offer less effective business and corporate working and operations handling. 5.6- Less effective reporting Here in case of current approach of Strathfield Health Centre traditional business handling we are having main issues of less effective business reporting and management. This leads to more critical performance and operational management. 5.7- Low clients and patients satisfaction More time consuming operations and slow Insurance Company’s request processing leads to less effective patient’s satisfaction to overall services of health center. This overall reduces the performance and working needs. 6- SYSTEM SOLUTION In case of overall handling and management of the Strathfield Health Centre here below I will present some of main system solution that will handle the overall corporate: 6.1- System Diagram 6.2- Patient Registration In case of patient registration we will register main patient information into our new system and save it to our database. That will also used for further information processing and handling. 6.3- Patient Check In/Check Out For the patient check in/Check Out our system will offer facility to record the timing, date and overall appointment summery of patient. This will be stored in database to manage and assess the overall expenses. 6.4- Inventory System This system will be used to manage the overall stock at the healthcare center to manage and handle the some of main aspects and areas of the inventory. Here we will mange the all in-coming and out-going inventory levels to handle Health-center processes. 6.5- Medicine This system will manage the level and usage of medicine to particular in-door patients and handling of their dosing. 6.6- Staff Record Maintenance The staff maintenance system at the Strathfield Health Centre will manage the overall processes and operations to handle the business working and tasks. I will record their working and daily operations. 6.7- Staff Payroll System This system will manage and handle the staff pays and offer enhanced facility for the better handling of the any anomalies in the working schedule. 6.8- Billing System The billing system at the Strathfield Health Centre will offer facility in case of handling and management of the overall payment and billing operations and processes at the Strathfield Health Centre. This will record patient and payment method information. 6.9- Website of Strathfield Health Centre Here we will also develop and implement the website for the Strathfield Health Centre. This will offer online patient appointment reservation and checking doctors and hospital information. This innovative technology based system will effective manage and handle the patients intentions at the local level so that they will be able to consult and manage the activities by sitting at home. 6.10- Third Part Solutions For Strathfield Health Centre I have researched and find some of effective solution those can full-fill also above stated requirements. In this scenario we will make use of some of enhanced facilities and support aspects for the business system handling. Here we can use .NET and SQL database combination to develop the system. 7.2 Economic feasibility In case of Strathfield Health Centre system we have to assess the economic feasibility regarding system development and working. In this scenario this investment of system will considerably reduce the cost of overall business management. In this way we can be able to manage the system in a much better way. 7.3 Legal feasibility This new system will more legalize the business operations and working aspects. The new technology based system will digitize the working that will offer better facility in case of proper customer payment and information security management. 7.4 Operational feasibility Such types of systems are previously working and operational worldwide in case of potential management and handling of hospital operations. Such systems are feasible and more enhanced in case business handling and management. 7.5 Schedule feasibility In case of development and establishment of this new technology based arrangement at the business of Strathfield Health Centre is feasible in case of schedule developed. In this way the new technology based system can better established at the corporate working areas. 10- SYSTEM SUMMARY In this report I have presented a deep analysis of some of the main aspects and areas of the new technology based arrangement establishment at the Strathfield Health Centre. In this scenario I have completely assessed main areas and aspects of the new technology based system. This report has tried to assess some of possible issues and opportunities those can be brought through the new technology based system. In this scenario, this report has outlined the main requirements and adoptability factors of new technology based system.
