The problem statement in the introduction explains the need for undertaking this project and how the project is to satisfy that need. In the literature review section, an attempt has been, made to give sufficient background information on the subject of remote control and current implementation of the same. A thorough analysis of existing literature on the subject has been availed to provide sufficient insight into the subject and thus facilitate a solid understanding of the project's aims and objectives.

The body of the report discusses the various components used for the project and its functions to the project. A clear and informative explanation of why the circuit has been connected so has also been provided alongside the circuit diagram. The connection procedure has also been outlined followed by a description of the operation of the model car together with the code used to program it. Test activities and their results have been provided and adequately analyzed in the succeeding sections.

The project then concludes with an assertion that success in implementing the model was realized and all objectives met.Remote Control is a field that has so far seen momentous inventions and innovations. Its applications alone cannot be counted yet more research still continues over the same. From remote control of electronic devices including but not limited to televisions, phones, air-conditions, doors among many other devices, the world has been made a better and easier place to live. This project seeks to demonstrate the possibility of this technology and its application in controlling cars remotely.

This project is aimed at modeling a toy car that can be remotely controlled using a joystick. The speed of the car should vary according to the position of the joystick and the direction too whether clockwise (forward) or counter-clockwise. The movement of the car is forward-backward plus it can also stop/brake and accelerate/start gradually when signaled to the same effect from the controlling device, joystick.
