Rosalina D. Gonzales-Jacob The poem chosen is Mother (Ina) becauseMotherhood is the greatest gift God gave to woman.Every mom has a mission to love, guide and protect her family unconditionally. She invests her emotions in her children. My life was my capital when you arrived. From my womb to the present, I have always dreamed of your good future. Being mother she feels proud and happy. She worries that what her children will become in future. She thinks about their future and arranges all best she can. TV show ‘A Good wife’ is a perfect example of a mother working to make her children future better. I left for a while with a heavy heart. I searched for dollars in a foreign land A mother’s love cannot be compared to any other blessing of any form. It is pure and pious free from any lust or interest. She is the best in every form, she appears either as grandmothers, great-grandmothers, stepmothers, biological mother or foster mother. Any form she wears is full of sacrifices and emotions. “As I lay awake, waiting for my two little stars to shine” (By Christine E. Kobie) Motherhood means seeing each of children as individuals, and not seeing their children’s imperfections as permanent flaws. Ethnicity along with the social order manipulate the role of motherhood A mothers wish to see her child as a successful human being, for that she transfers her knowledge and skills to her children. She loves and prays from the abysmal depth of her heart. She thinks and cares about her baby’s future. When a baby comes to life, the mother dedicates her days and nights for the baby. She sacrifices her present for child’sfuture. Her love is so pure that nothing else can take its place. Her love begins before the birth of child. “Times is very slow for those who wait Very fast for those who are scared Very long for those who lament Very short for those who celebratebut for those who love Time is eternal” (williamshakspeare) Her emotions for her baby are indescribable. Words are short to portrait her eternal love .Excuses are where emotions are dead .She never excuse, when it comes to her children. Her love cannot be broken. In her dreams her children are the best in this world and the world after this life. She trims us in the best possible shape, and knows how to prepare us for the coming days of life. She is the one who makes us identify right and wrong. Moms want children to grow up to an ideal adult, she helps in sorting out moral issues and identify right from wrong. When it requires, she leaves everything to earn for her children. She takes pain to make our way Individuals move as part of their effort to improve their lives and the lives of their children. Pain is temporary, it may last for a minute, for a second, or for an hour an but eventually it subsides and something good takes its place .If she quit today, it will last forever for her child in future. So she takes pain for them. She works and arranges money to make our career. She depart homeland to long distances, sacrificing her attachments with us to earn. It’s not so easy for her to stay away from us as her love can’t bear distances. It is anexamination of her patience to stay away, but she manages to do so for you better future and career. There is no end to this love; her mind remains full of her children’s thoughts. “Mothers really care and they love you sothey love you very dearly more than you will know always there for you when things are going wrongwith her love so special there to keep you strong there to comfort you when you begin to cry hold you in her arms to help the teardrops dry with her special bond and a love so true mum is always there always there for you (William Worthless) Mothers shelters and protect us from harm. She invests her energies to keep us happy and safe. Children come first even in prayers. Her dignity and character lies in her children. Her world liein success and achievement of her kids. She polishes his son to shine in the skies of happiness and pleasure. She comes with her children, she end with her children. Father keeps an eye on children to monitor them outside home. He keeps a check on children to guide and protect them from hardships of life. Parenthood is a responsibility and choice that makes you put your children’sjoy, happiness, career, comfort and security ahead of your own. Parents teach the hard lessons and guide to do the right thing. They choose the best possible options for children. They are always present and available for their children.
