The story of Ayogai Theme The story of Ayogai is actually a Japanese folk tale. This story is filled with the emotions of love and pain. The main theme of this story is “love”. It’s actually the story about a samurai and his wife Ayogai. The writer in a perfect way has described the power and importance of love in his writing. According to his writing the essence of life is love just like in the story, Tomotada even risk his own life to get the love of his life. The writer has associated love with one’s soul.

In addition with love, writer has also mentioned the point of utter loyalty. As after the death of Ayogai, Tomotada restrain himself from worldly chaos and he remembered his lovely life and paid religious services on behalf of her wife’s soul and her parents. The character of Ayogai depict innocence and purity, Tomotada reflects bravery and loyalty. Whole tale revolves around their struggle of getting together and fighting the cruel world and fate.The story has everything, even suspense as the writer didn’t mention the name of that cruel one who cut down that trees and also surprise us with the sudden change in attitude of a prince.

In short the story is full of ethics and wisdom. The story is sweet and short and full of surprises. The central idea or theme of the whole story is love, care and loyalty. The story is good and is written perfectly.
