According to the research findings, when Maudgalyayana visits hell in his spiritual state, he is devastated to see his mother’s condition and wants to help her despite of her acts that were despiteful. Moreover, we can learn the importance of purity of prayers coming from pure hearts in the story. Romance of the west Chamber’, the young man, Zang Sheng is brave, heroic and a great lover. Zang Sheng shows a great deal of devotion towards his lover, after the disapproval of Yingying’s mother, and wife of the chief minister of the Tang court, he doesn’t lose hope and at last passes the examination that Yingying’s mother had set as a perquisite to win her daughter’s hand.
