Letter to the Prof: P.O. Box: Dear Sir/Madam, Ref INFORMATION ON MY STRENGHT AND WEAKNESSES AS A WRITER In connection to the requirements of semester submission of report on my academic progress as a writer, I hereby give a summary of what I have been through for the last three months. This has been in class, within the institution and also to the Diaspora. Writing is an interesting activity that has created a web of opportunities in my life. Mostly, I write online and I have had the privilege to be part of the global village.

I traverse and get informed every time on the current and daily socio-economic activities from the farthest corners of the globe. These are the factors affecting nature and modes of conservation so as to save the future generations. This has been an open platform where I have aired out my opinions and exchanged ideas with the rest of the world. Exposure has come along my way and provided me with an international outlook of life. I therefore, view things from a different perspective and come to understand how to face them and move on with the daily challenges.

With an avalanche of ideas that I have gained through reading and writing, my perspective of humanity has also changed; Equity has therefore become my mantra. Through the research I undertake during writing, I have explored new and different words, both scientific and from different languages. This is a great fortune because I have enriched my understanding of most things, if not everything. I embrace and appreciate everyone’s culture. This is because I have made a large number of new friends who have been there for me at all times.

We have become a unified family and stretch our arms whenever possible. My grammar and passion for linguistics has also been nourished significantly. However, I feel empowered and challenged at the same time to participate actively in nation building. I have been facing numerous challenges and shortcomings in the event of writing. A lot of criticisms that I receive from different spheres is the most common challenge that I usually encounter when writing. Some individuals are not willing to appreciate and accommodate my opinions.

My critics try so hard to limit my freedom of expression which is a fundamental human right. Even though I consider all the ethical issues, some individuals usually mutilate my views by misinterpretation. They get out openly rebuking me and even threatening to sue me. However, due to my passion, I press on and refuse to bend low in order to give out my best without fear or favor. Piracy has been a thorn in the foot. Most of my articles are printed as a whole or parts of them without my knowledge or permission.

This has been a discouraging factor as people want to reap where they did not sow. Negative articles are printed with forged signatures, and this has called for further explanation. With all the innocence, competitors are always ready to use all dirty tricks and hole my pockets. I have to incur all the cushioning expenses. The cost of printing is greatly elevated due to high inflation rates and taxation. Difficult economic times being experienced all over the world make it hard for most people to afford this precious knowledge.

It has also been so difficult to disseminate information to most people due to high levels of poverty and illiteracy. Majority of individuals in the African continent are not exposed to formal education. They are semi-illiterate and prefer articles translated in their local languages. This has been a major hiccup. Some readers have more expectations since they demand more than what is available. This becomes a disappointment on their side and a let down on my part. However, all these weaknesses have molted my ideologies and transformed my writing.

I am cautious in my work hence; I usually ensure readers get the right information, no matter many challenges that I encounter. I climb the ladder of knowledge daily and I have a peace of mind whenever people get enlightened. I am very optimistic and look forward to join the club of eminent and prominent writers in the world. I would also like to embrace comments of all my critics as they have helped me to grow as a writer.Yours faithfully,
