Report Plan: Telephone System This particular report will be addressed to Mrs. Lasansky, a broker at a real e company; it will serve to addressthe implementation of a new telephone system that works to forward office phone calls to the cell phone of the individual in question. The particular phone system that is being recommended is a Siemens phone system. The phones themselves are multi-line, multi-use phones that allow for call forwarding to internal or external numbers, including cellular phones.

The purpose of the report will be to detail the features of the phones themselves, and the reasoning behind the choice of these phones in particular, with specific attention paid to the call forwarding features of these phones. The analysis will include a simple walkthrough of how easy the setup for these particular phones is in terms of call forwarding as well as an analysis of the phone’s performance in an office setting. Methods used to gather information will include a search of EBSCO as well as several targeted Google searches geared towards this particular phone system.

The criteria used to evaluate the information collected will be how relevant the information is to the company and to the topic at hand. Some potential sources for the writing of this report are included below. The Siemens phone system will allow for the optimization and streamlining of the business itself, as well as meet all of the needs of this growing business. The call forwarding system is easy to use, and easy to setup, and does not take any more than an additional five minutes to setup after the phone system is already in place.
