SHILOH” “Shiloh,” which portrays a fictional battle, contains several hidden messages that take place in a person’s life. The book takes into accountthe various battles that faced the people of Tennessee in the early years. The books also contain a huge number of casualties than the country has ever experienced in modern time. The fighters expect reinforcement from Don Carlos Buell but they were caught unawares. This book contains the various battles that relate to the employment battles into modern times.
This battles are portrayed as fatal that involves surrendering, murder, loss of lives and body parts such as arms and legs. In this context, I can relate this battle with the employment wars. This can happen when someone loses trust on his friends at the workplace and results to an emotional battle. This emotional battle can be fatal since it will result to low job performance, which will in turn affect the wages that a person gets. Secondly, the battle at Shiloh represents the wars that occur between the managers and the employees.
This battles ranges from job performance, salary demands, supervision wars, and harassment. The casualties depicted in this case can relate to the losers of the various wars in the job place. The demand by the workers to have an increase in salaries and results to demonstrations can be related to the various wars that occur in the battlefield, which involves the loss of lives. The loss of lives relates to the loss of jobs in this case. In addition, I would relate the expected reinforcement to the expected backing that employees face during their course of duty (Groom 610).
