She is just concerned with herself and even offers herself as a martyr. Creon’s position is that Antigone is defying him and going against the people’s will. Creon feels that by allowing Antigone to continue with the burial, it would portray sign of weakness as a king thus showing how dictatorial he is. Because of the power that King Creon had combined with the belief that Antigone was wrong and very rude for insisting that she wants to honor her brother gives him an upper hand in the case.

2 Strongly consider Creon to be the strategic hero because his acts such as overconfidence and dictatorship kind of leadership lead to tragedies such as death of his son and Antigone. It is apparent that failure and downfall of King Creon greatly affected the Thebes people simply because he was a leader who underwent some sort of change and was portrayed by the story as the hero. Apart particularly after defying the law and demands of Creon by burying her brother where she is caught and arrested.

Antigone does not seem regretting for taking any action including burial of her brother unlike Creon who discovers that he made improper decisions and seriously regrets especially after his son dies. Creon is truly a tragic hero because at the beginning, everything seems to be going on well and smoothly. However, the king is later portrayed as losing all his battles and giving up his own demands and further blaming it on pride. Creon believed that he is ever right and that people looked up to him made his level of pride go high Creon’s pride accompanied with arrogance made him loss his family members and support from his people.

Twelve Angry Men 3 Juror #8 is very important character in this story that votes ‘not guilty” in the jury’s first vote and is portrayed as the most heroic member amongst the jury. Juror #8 seems keen to justice particularly when he is considerate toward the teen offender and further votes against every Juror’s desire. He believes in studying cases carefully and thoughtfully before making any decision and further believes that it is important to be patience before studying cases. He comes out to be very unique and important in the play due to the decisions he makes.

He creates difference amongst the other jurors by staying calm and selfless even when others are mad at him. He played an important role in convincing other jurors such as juror#9 to change their vote against their will but as per what he thought was right thus providing more time for argument and discussion. He also re-enacted the scene of murder as a way of proving it successfully making some other jurors to follow in his decision. 4 The concept of reasonable doubt may be very hard to explain and even understand due to the technicalities involved in it.

However, it would mean that if jury is convinced and has concrete evidence that the defendant did not commit any crime then it results into a not guilty judgment. A jury must not vote guilty if he feels that there are no enough and serious evidence that associates the suspect with crime even if other juries is opposed to it. In the “12 Angry Men” juror #8 votes “not guilty” because he is convinced that there is no sufficient evidence relating the young boy with the murder. Juror #8 reviews and re-enact
