The term database in the simplest and most basic sense refers to the whole body and unit of information which is used to collect and ratify data and information that is collected.  A database is then used primarily and objectively to keep or store and then, later on, retrieve the data or information which was kept there. In the primary sense and aspect, there are basic or objective components that define and qualify a set of information to be referred to as a database. They include tables, queries, forms, reports, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers. This paper and exposition would thus analyze and contextualize the main components of a database set.

            To begin with, there are the tables which are diagrammatic representations and intuitions which are mostly used to store data. It is needless to mention the fact that without tables, a database would not be complete and it would not be referred to as a database.  Once a person logs in to an excel or a database page, there are rows and columns which would be labeled and named according to the information they store (Chays & Deng, 2003). In principle, queries allow a user to obtain information based on the defined criteria by a user. Forms are also a component that seeks to reduce the challenge and ease the process of data entry. In the conventional sense and knowledge, most scientists and scholars prefer to use tables for data entry other than tables since they look more appealing and presentable.  Report on their part has print records to present the contained and encompassed information or data.

            Similarly, there are other components of a database discussed below herein. There is the space for the index which is a customization that allows for a person to retrieve and obtain information much faster and with ease. In principle, the index allows the user to get the information easier and faster. For example, the person or the user would customize information by using the First or last name of the columns and rows. This is to say that an index is unique to differentiate itself from other items and sources. In brief, tables consist of rows and columns and are the places where the real or actual information is entered and defined

            Subsequently, there is the aspect and component of views which highlights and articulates the relationship that exists of database tables. This is particularly critical and important if there are separate and unique queries or entries that may be troublesome and difficult for the user to navigate through. This is usually located at the top of the page near the home button and it is used to reduce the complexity and difficulty that a user may encounter in retrieving and getting the requisite and required information.  It is important to note and mention that a user or a creator of the database may customize this situation according to his or her requirements and needs (Kerzman & Rezek, 2006). However, care ought to be taken since a user may overlook the number of processing that a view represents.

            In the same line of thought and argument, there is the instance and situation of stored procedures which are beneficial in case the queries cannot be independently used to solve a problem.  Under such circumstances, the users or the creators of the database are required to have a programmed loop or logic where additional relativity would be required.  For instance, T/SQL language may be beneficial and critical to be used by Microsoft SQL servers.
