Social Media Introduction In this age of information technology, online presence is the most essential requirement of an organization, operating in any segment or in any market. This is because; it helps the organization to enhance its position and brand image in the market among other rival players. Apart from this, now a day, social media is also used for marketing product or services of an organization to its target customers. However, it might prove effective only if the level of awareness is high regarding the rules and regulations of the social media. Then, the higher authorities or the managers performing the marketing operations for the organization might protect him or the organization from the negative impacts of the social media and from its upcoming challenges in future. This research paper mainly highlights the four components that need to be kept in mind by a legally astute social media marketing manager of an organization. Along with this, all the alternative dispute resolution methods need to be analysed in order to mitigate the disputes so as to maintain a good relationship with the clients. Not only this, the manager of the organization performing transactions through social media might also be well aware about the policies by which the federal government might resolve the disputes. Discussion Four components of legally astute marketing In order to retain the competitiveness of an organization, social media marketing is extremely essential. However, the four characteristics that a legally astute social media marketing manager needs to keep in mind are a positive attitude towards the legal issues and various regulations, explicit knowledge over the rules, laws and techniques. Other than this the proactive attitude towards the importance of laws is also extremely essential in making an organizational portfolio successful as well as the manager may comprise of the ability to utilise well-versed judgements so as to resolve the legal implications in an effective way. In order to amplify the operations and functions of the organization, the social media manager needs to be well-knowledgeable with all the above mentioned components. This might help the manager to enhance the brand image and reputation of the organization thereby amplifying its profit margin to a significant extent among many other rival players. Therefore, it might be clearly stated that in order to maintain the marketing operations of an organization effectively through social media, it’s extremely essential to be analyse and understand the legal impacts of the rules and regulations of social media (Joosten, 2012). Only then the organization might become able to develop a strong relationship and identity within the minds of the customers thereby amplifying its consistency among others. Alternative dispute resolution procedures In order to maintain the supremacy of the organization varied types of alternative dispute resolution procedures are extremely essential. Among them, the most effective ones are arbitration, association, mediation, conciliation, negotiation and fact finding. However, in order to resolve the disputes with the customers and to maintain a good relationship and trust with them for longer period of time, negotiation might be best procedure (Sponder, 2011). This is because, in this type of alternative dispute resolution process, less formal evidentiary rules are utilised. Along with this, the views and suggestions of the customers might also be analysed and evaluated with the help of this method as compared to others. As a result of which, the level of dependency and loyalty of the customers remains over the brand thereby amplifying its sustainability to a significant extent among others. Moreover, due to the proper maintenance of the customers, the rate of competitive advantage of the organization might get enhanced thereby boosting its profitability to a significant extent among many other rival players. Not only this due to the enhancement of the trust and reliability of the customers the demand and total sale of the products might also get enhanced. Controlling consumer transactions In order to maintain all the transactions secure and protective from any sort of disputes, the federal government might try to ensure the technique of encryption. This is one of the most essential forms of technique to protect the data and information, obtained or presented to a customer through social media. This might help in enhancement of the reliability and dependency of the customers over the manager or brand thereby amplifying its profitability to a significant extent among others. By doing so, the brand image and market value of the organization also remains quite high, which is extremely essential in this age of competitiveness. Other than this, the federal government might implement the technique of consumer payment control parameter so as to control the payments of the customers in an effective way. So, maximum extent of the business entrepreneurs desire to perform their operations and transactions through social media sites among other sites in the market. This is why the popularity and market share of the social media sites is increasing at a rapid pace (Jue & et. al, 2009). Agency relationship Yes, the social media provider and the business entrepreneur might share a good relationship among them. Only if all sorts of conflicts or miss-confusions might get cleared very easily without any sort of dilemma’s thereby amplifying their business transactions. Not only this, such type of relationship also helps both of them to enhance their reputation and total revenue as well. Not only this due to the presence of such type of relationships, the social media provider might offer the facility of presenting customized advertisements of the products or services of the organization thereby enhancing its demand in the market. Similarly, by presenting such type of advertisements, the range of visitors in the site might get enhanced thereby amplifying its rankings and ratings. Due to which, such a relationship is extremely worthy for both the individual, i.e. the social media provider and the business entrepreneur in this age of extensive competition and bargaining rivalry. So, it is highly preferred by all. Apart from this, proper agency relationship also helps in enhancing the thinking ability regarding social media, hiring new partners as well as in job adjustments thereby boosting the portfolio of the organization in the market among many other rival players. Moreover, by doing so, the dominance of social media also gets amplified to a certain extent as compared to others. So, agency relationship offers benefits in both the parties. So, it is highly effective in this age of marketing. Branches of government The federal government includes three branches, which are executive, legislative, and judicial. Among them, the executive branch includes the authority of protecting the transactions of the customers. Along with this, this branch also deals effecting in regulating various issues related to consumer transactions. Moreover, it may also make significant impacts on regulating the transactions performed through social media sites such as twitter, face-book and others (Jacobson, 2009). The decisions and suggestions of this branch are solely taken by the administrative head of this branch so as to fulfil it, immediately without any sort of faults. As a result of which, immediately steps are taken in any sort of such consumer transactions in order to retain the security and trust of social media within the minds of the business entrepreneurs in future era. By doing so, the demand and loyalty of the social media sites might remain enhanced thereby amplifying its craze within the minds of the business entrepreneurs as compared to many other networking sites. So, its level of preference is increasing day by day as compared to others (Bradley, 2007). Thus, it might be clearly stated that the operations of executive branch of the government is extremely essential to retain the popularity and dominance of social media in the market among others. Conclusion Conclusively, it might be clearly revealed that in order to maintain the operations of the business effectively through social media, extensive knowledge regarding the laws and regulations of social media is extremely essential. Moreover, all the above mentioned four components are extremely essential to protect a legally astute social media manager thereby mitigating varied types of business risks. Apart from this, in order to retain the efficiency of the business through social media, agency relationship is extremely essential. This is because; it might help an organization in enhancing its profitability and image in the market thereby amplifying its promotional campaigns and procedure to hire new clients. This might enhance the popularity and supremacy of the organization in the market thereby amplifying its portfolio among other rival players. However, it might be possible only if effective rules and regulations may be implemented within the country by the federal government. Only then, the procedure of performing business transactions through social media might remain for a longer period of time thereby amplifying its popularity in the market among others. Therefore, due to the implementation of varied effective strategies and policies, maximum extent of the organizations performs their business transactions through social media.
