Among them integrity, remuneration as well as education are the key factors to be considered. Integrity is among the aspects which is vital in any sort of profession. However, in the profession of detective/criminal investigator this aspect is crucial as it has the inclusion of law.

The professional engaged in this profession have to work in accordance with the available evidences and not on moral grounds. Moreover, it has been noted that remuneration is also one of the major issues associated with such profession. It is often argued that detective/criminal investigators are paid quite less as compared to other professions. These aspects are at times quite de-motivating for the individuals who are in this profession. Rewards and compensations are key elements that encourage people to work efficiently.
