The Different roles Played by the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches in the regulatory process Legislative branch The legislature is a fundamental law-making branch of the government. It is responsible for decisive activities that involve national objectives, strategic goals plus functions and services (Barry & Howard 6). The legislature transforms these decisions into legislations implementable by the executive body. The legislature performs roles that concerns constitutional amendments for the purpose of regulating laws that are undesirable, vague or harsh (Rosenbloom 4).

The legislative branch ensures the making of laws concerning taxation. It ensures that the national finances are in control via the monitoring of government borrowings plus appropriations. The legislative body plays a fundamental role in the budget processes especially, where the need for proper governance plus fiscal precision is essential (Rosenbloom 4). In most countries, the legislature intervenes in cases such as budget executions, reviews plus debates. Legislatures ensure that the activities of the government conform to the regulations and laws (Rosenbloom 5).

They are responsible for the representation of the public through listening and communication of citizen requirements. The legislature performs the functions of supervising the executive branch during the implementation process. It takes part in various issues in order to support implementation in the judicial plus executive offices (Barry & Howard 72). Some legislatures have similar powers as the judiciary, for making critical settlements such as anomalies in elections. Before the promulgation of any regulation by the executive branch, their tabling by the legislature becomes fundamental.

This branch has the authority plus power to refute any legislation which is not reasonable (Rosenbloom 5). Executive branch The role of the executive branch is to implement laws through various executive offices and the president (Rosenbloom 5). The executive is responsible for various roles, for example, it ensures the administration of the state through implementation of laws plus management of bureaucracy. The executive enables the regulatory procedure by transforming law into the policy (Rosenbloom 5).

The procedures for regulations allow public members to express their views concerning the projected regulations. The branch ensures supervision of various agencies via the president. The president performs vital appointments in departments, for example, the department of health (Rosenbloom 6). The appointed persons help the executive in the implementation of various laws that govern the agencies. The secretaries are responsible for the well-running of agencies such as the Food plus Drug administration which is within the executive in the United States.

The executive acts under the delegation from the legislature, for instance, the congress makes various laws plus regulations followed by delegation to the executive branch (Barry & Howard 49). In an executive branch, responsibility plus accountability is paramount; thus in some states such as the United States, the process commences with the governor (Barry & Howard 51). An affirmation exists regarding the prevalence of the governor’s position in the event of a disagreement. Executive offices through their heads work to ensure proper implementation of procedures.

The branch ensures the implementation of government budgets after approval by the legislative body (Rosenbloom 8). It is significant to understand that the executive does not have the power to make laws but acts from a delegation body. Judicial Branch The judicial branch incorporates aspects that serve to protect the constitution of a country, and ensure the dominance of the rule of law (Barry & Howard 172). The judiciary indicates the jurisdiction plus the capacity of a court in relation to decisions that concern the law.

An important function of the judiciary is overseeing the safeguard of constitutional rights both civil plus legal. The judiciary via the court system can reprimand or punish wrongs and perform resolution of conflicts. This is possible by following the laws present in the constitution without bias. The judiciary ensures that everyone who appears in court receives desired treatment by employing principles of dignity, equality plus recognition of diversity (Rosenbloom 11). The body is accountable for the elucidation of various provisions, for example, those which regard statutes and the constitution.

The judiciary has a mandate of making a decision that concerns the use of administrative action terms. While making this decision, the court involved holds the ability to compel the working of an administrative function (Barry & Howard 172). This can occur if the action appears to delay the progression of the court’s activities. The courts perform reviews of administrative decisions by incorporating procedures that oversee fairness in making various administrative positions. The court accountable for reviews can perform invalidation of decisions, especially those which are vague (Rosenbloom 10). A fundamental task of judges is to enhance the administration of civil plus criminal justice in conformance to the law (Barry & Howard 172).
