Facebook is a social media app that brings together people from various backgrounds. The article summarizes the nonsense of the internet. It highlights the multiple issues perceived of the internet and the various measures that can be adopted to ensure that the nonsense on the internet is stopped. Some claims on the internet are that once a technology is integrated into the internet, it loses its history and intellectual autonomy. Facebook has greatly changed; thus, as matters that have been integrated on the internet have played a vital role in passing information that is never easily forgotten. Once individuals have various feeds on Facebook, they can always go back and reread the information, thus ensuring that the information has been forgotten or lost its relevance. In Facebook to ensure that one goes back to such a message, one will have to tap messages at the top of the page near one's profile and the home link. One can then choose the thread which one wants the history. The thread will then open at the bottom of the app.one can then scroll up and down and have a look cost of goods sold

at the previous messages. This information can always be retrieved in the app being against the notion that once the message is on the internet, it is forgotten and can not be retrieved. Many individuals have had numerous ideas on how the internet works, with every individual having a different perspective. An app such as Facebook, for example, is used for various reasons between different groups. Individuals may use it as a social platform, while others may use it as a marketing platform to advertise their goods. Different individuals have thus their various perceptions of what the internet is and its actual role in society.

Various individuals have had multiple concepts and ideas on why the internet should be stopped. Facebook has brought about globalization, where individuals from all likes of life can integrate easily and share information. Stopping the internet and limiting the existence and operations of these apps will greatly affect the people's ways of life due to the impacts that the platform had had on people's lives. Facebooks manifesto clearly states that only individuals that have been left behind can opt to want to withdraw from the connected world. People that feel that they have been left behind by globalization are the real causes behind wanting the internet to be stopped an action that will accrue significant losses to the community. Understanding the various matters on the establishment of the patterns is made hard due to the multiple concepts that support it, such as algorithms (Morozov,18). Facebook formation is a significant example of the complexity of the internet. For any system to be in operations, various algorithms and coding techniques have been instilled. The same way Facebook necessitates constants backups and checks, the same applies to the internet where care is necessitated for the apps to be effective. Facebook, however, has strived to ensure that it is easier to navigate through their sites as they control posts so that users are in a position to see what is relevant to them at all times. The integration of the internet and individuals has been robust, making it hard for individuals to do away with the internet. Facebook gains much from the internet as individuals use the platform to mingle. The topic of stopping the internet seems to be unviable as technology, and the internet has been deeply embedded in people's lives and away with the internet and apps such as Facebook being an uphill task.

Social media has significantly been embedded in individuals' lives. The same way as Facebook, where an individual's online presence is a norm in which individuals cannot veer away from as usage of platforms has been embedded in people’s lives (Morozov, 21). Facebook, to a greater extent, has relied on the internet. A perfect example is that of Facebook and its connectivity. Individuals strive to have pictures with friends or coming up with pictures that show what they are undertaking or doing. Individuals use Facebook at all times to connect to individuals while at the same time, ensuring that they keep other individuals informed of the actions that they are undertaking. The notion that technology other than the internet may seem impossible as individuals have had lots of capital invested in the internet.

The faux didacticism of the internet is to highlight the significance of the internet in daily operations. The same applies to Facebook, where most organizations believe that it is the best platform that an individual can market products and, at the same time, gain consumers. As stated above individuals will strive at all times to ensure that individuals understand the activities that they are undertaking or the trends that they are wearing to ensure that they gather more likes and more friends who are interested in the actions that they are engaged in at all times. Thus, the internet has much to offer to any given population (Morozov,25), and getting rid of it may not be the best solution. There exist many disadvantages that are associated with the internet, the same as Facebook. However, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and individuals understanding that the internet and Facebook play a significant role in society's activities will, over time, accrue benefits.

The internet theorists, to a greater extent, has much truth in it. The openness allowed on the internet has played a significant role in what the internet has become today (Morozov, 31). The openness allowed on the internet is as a result of the various regulations being made in a manner that will ensure that operations are carried out while at the same time ensuring that various rules are being followed. Facebook openness, for example, is shown by the fact that its software is open source where it is available for any individual who might want to have alterations with to come up with more effective software. If an individual comes up with a change that might benefit Facebook, then they donate it back to the software project so that everyone can use it to advance it to perform greater functions. Closing the internet will in no way add value to society. Globalization has played a significant role in the various achievements that society has had as people can associate easily and get to pass information. Being too young is a factor that has been associated with condemning the internet in regards to experience. Experience with the internet enables one to be better placed to come up with practical decisions.

The Internet revolution has been experienced over time, and individuals should accept the various changes associated with change (Morozov,35). With the change in technology and society as large, individuals have to be open to ideas in change, which will ensure that activities have been made more efficient and effective in the long run. Recognizing the multiple changes related to the internet will play a significant role in the evolution and growth of society. The nonsense of the internet in the chapter indicates the various assumptions that various individuals have had on society. The internet has played a significant role in the advancements of technology. Thus, the internet should be preserved, and individuals should look at efficient means to make the internet better.

Media regulations is an aspect that has changed over time. There has been widespread news on the dwindling in power associated with national states regarding control in media and communication, with various factors playing a significant role in decreasing the power of the national states (Flew,77). Notable examples cited as evidence for dwindling power in national states includes globalization, neo-liberalism and the various internet freedom theories backing the fact that there has been a widespread shift in media regulations with corporate companies having a more substantial say on the various aspects and pass decisions based on whether the choices will impact the companies negatively or positively.

The government has continued to play a significant role in media regulations, an aspect that has been made evident by limitations that have been imposed by the government. This, in no way does it mean that the government has in any way, lost its power. Delegation of the government roles and functions have ensured that both the state and federal governments have had more power and may act in issues that may seem to be against the overall good of the community. Freedom is an aspect that has changed significantly over time, with media regulations being limited due to globalization. However, the government plays a significant role in most activities that individuals indulge in at any given time. Facebook has to abide by given government regulations and ensure that the platform is run in a manner that ensures that at all times, information being run in the platform pauses no harm to the national government and the overall population.

Facebook is an ideal example of an app that can be used in the analysis of the readings in week ten.. Neoliberalism is a concept that has tried to be used by many individuals to showcase the loss of power by national governments and assuming that corporate companies have control on operations without relying on government (Flew,75). Neoliberalism has ensured that people have believed that public ownership has been reduced, and individuals have been empowered to conduct various actions. However, it is critical to note that an app such as Facebook has multiple rules and regulations that abide by their licenses to be renewed. The government comes up with various committees that will ensure that there is adequate scrutiny of these applications. Special senate hearings have been made to ensure that any invention that has been passed by these companies is for the good of the citizens and that there is less malice attributed to the app.

Economic globalization has been termed as n aspect that has profoundly influenced nation-state power as individuals can no longer be limited. Globalization has played a significant role in success if Facebook as a company. However, various countries' various limitations have to be followed to ensure that the app is allowed to have its operations in various countries. However, rules in various countries are different, and claiming that national states have lost control is assuming what has not been confirmed. Many governments have ensured that there is freedom in terms of speech and expression. However, some countries have different measures to limit information. Information is treated differently in various countries, an aspect that is determined by the various rules and regulations that have been set in a given country (Flew, 80). For example, most communist countries ensure that they have limited information, with public interests being the issue of contention. Economic globalization has been made possible by apps such as Facebook. However, it is vital to note that the app strictly follows various rules and regulations set in different countries. Laws are meant to be in line with the countries policies as the app needs licensing for its products and its domains being hosted in various countries. Thus, this highlights the power that the national states have had on media. Media controls to be regulated in multiple countries with the main aim being to ensure that countries' population's interests are not violated.

Globally networked nature of the internet has in no way affected national security and national state being central to media regulations. As mentioned above, Facebook has various policies that it has to abide by for its operations to run in any country. Facebook is a globally known and used app. The globally networked nature has played a significant role in the company obtaining better coverage and, at the same time, having an increase in the number of customers. An Individual's communication has been made easier, an aspect that has been made possible by governments allowing the apps to operate in different countries.

Regulatory boards shifting from nation-state agencies has been perceived as an action that individuals have seen as a weakness in national states and has been termed as a loose of the grip of power (Flew, 85). However, it is vital to note that with the advancements in technology, there have been numerous data and security measures that have to be put in place. Delegation of tasks by the government to other regulatory boards ensures that appropriate measures have been set to ensure that data is safe. There have been numerous data; an increase in social media activities has played a significant role in increasing perceived crimes. Ensuring that there is a board that monitors data in apps such as Facebook is thus not a weakness. Still, a practical measure that guarantees that the security level has been increased as interception of messages with malicious aims is made more accessible when a specific department or organization has put its resources and energy in ensuring that security has been upheld.

Media regulations have changed over time. Globalization, Neoliberalism, and internet freedom have played a significant role in ensuring that there has been a shift in media regulations. Advancement of technology and apps such as Facebook has made it easier to pass information. However, it should be noted that the government is still central to media regulations. Media regulations are based on a government's policy. The benefits of the apps have ensured that there is communication with limitations depending on the government. Thus, supporting the argument that the government is no longer central to media and communication is not entirely accurate as governments regulate information while implementing and passing policies on media regulations.
