Additionally, the new technology has revolutionized the traditional corporate operational processes and working. Thus, seeing the innovations offered by information technology based systems and their power to facilitate the corporate operational structure “Manage Your Health, Inc (MYH)” business has decided to implement a new and well-organized corporate intranet. In this scenario, the main aim and objective of this new technology based intranet is to facilitate MYH Corporation in achieving their major goals such as reducing internal costs, increasing cross-selling of products and exploiting new Web-based technologies to help employees, customers, and suppliers work together to improve the development and delivery of its health care products and services. This new corporate intranet will offer a great deal support and capability to business staff with possible improvement to their health. In this scenario they will be able to register through web based business portal that will engage and register them with health care for physical exercise based activities. As a result, the overall corporate will be able to get high level facilities for managing business tasks and activities. 2- PROJECT BACKGROUND Manage Your Health, Inc. (MYH) offers a range of health care services all through the world. Additionally, more than 20,000 full-time staff members and over 5000 part-time workers work at MYH Corporation. MYH newly updated its strategic policy, and fundamental business aims and objectives that involve the new method of minimizing internal costs, increasing cross-selling of products and exploiting new Web-based technologies to help employees, customers, and suppliers work together to improve the development and delivery of its health care products and services. In this scenario, the information technology department at MYH Corporation is going to establish a “Recreation and Wellness Intranet”. This will be an online business staff network that will provide them with the capability to register online for the physical training and workout exercises. These trainings will help improve the health of business staff and that eventually leads to potential reduction in the overall health care premiums primarily due to the poor health of its employees. 3- SCOPE STATEMENT 3.1- Current Environment Presently the business is spending a lot of money on health care premiums primarily due to the poor health of its employees. This is a possible business internal expense that needs to be reduced for better corporate interest. This business IT and communication department proposed an idea to establish a well-organized web based technology based arrangement that can effectively support and offer a great deal of capability to business regarding potential enhancement of business staff health and immune system. 3.2- OBJECTIVES 3.2.1- BUSINESS OBJECTIVE The business desires to reduce the overall business expenses and improve overall business profitability by offering superior services and support for business staff. In this scenario, the business is using new strategic plans according to those the corporate is aimed at reducing internal costs, increasing cross-selling of products and exploiting new Web-based technologies to help employees, customers, and suppliers work together to improve the development and delivery of its health care products and services. It is eventually assessed that this can be done for the potential reduction in health premier charges that each month comes from the bossiness staff illness. There is a great deal of hope that this project will effectively improve the corporate credibility through possible reduction in costs. 3.2.2- PROJECT OBJECTIVES This project is aimed to offer the business a corporate intranet that would improve the overall corporate working power and as a result business will improve its working and operations management. This overall process will be very helpful for improving the staff health.
