This research is about the better selection of the computer technology for our organizational working performance. I will compare three different dell based computer platforms. Introduction In this research I am going to present a detailed analysis of the three Dell Based Computer platforms. I will analyze and present a detailed overview of the overall technology based comparison of these Three Computer Plate Forms. These Three computers platforms are given below: Dell dimension 4600 Desktop Dell XPS 420 Dell Studio Mini-tower The basic motive behind this research is to access the more efficiently working platform for our company. We have need of this implementation in lot of areas of the corporation. For instance, we need this technology for the automated system working for the production; we also need for CAD software execution and working. We will also deploy these new systems in the R&D and Design office. Now I will compare and contrast these three platforms for the better working of the organization and manufacturing. Dell dimension 4600 Desktop In this section I will present the detailed analysis of the Dell dimension 4600 Desktop computers. Dell Dimension 4600 Desktop has a 2.66 GHz Pentium 4 processor, a 2 GB RAM, 320 GB hard disk and 8x DVD+RW drive. This system contains the “Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2” Sound Card by Dell 5850 5.1 sound Speakers. There is facility Intel 10/100 Ethernet plus v.92 56Kbps Modem. The main faculty is the one FireWire and eight USB 2.0 Ports (Dell Dim1, 2009). It is mid-range desktop computer that can be configured to satisfy approximately any type of the working. This can be industrial and as well as for the personal usage. We have better performance for the budding gamers, students, or the SOHO crowd. But according to some business reviews I have found out the system is best for students, game lovers and personal users. The organizational working CAD software handling can be achieved in this system but they are not bright features for the industrial and organizational working. Here we can implement these systems for R&D and Design offices but not perfect for the automated manufacturing. Dell XPS 420 Now I will discuss the Dell XPS 420 system for our organization working performance. Dell XPS 420 is a high power system that is designed for targeting the "Creative Class". These words are used by Dell and listed that this system is best for the “film-makers, artists, designers, scientists, builders, engineers, producers, architects, and professors" (Simms, 2007). This system has a custom motherboard that is supported by the Intels performance flagship X38 chipset. In Dell Studio Mini-tower its core, the Studio Desktop symbolizes Dells typical mainstream workhorse Personal Computer. We obtain small in the means of gaming or else living space responsive hardware; in its place this structure offers a solid daily Vista practice. Conclusion After discussing features of three systems I have found Dell Studio Mini-tower more effective as compared to the Dell dimension 4600 Desktop and Dell XPS 420. This system is more efficient in working, more powerful resources and has better facilities. This is multi purpose system that is fit for all areas. Other two systems are specific for gaming, office, or multimedia job, but this system has widespread functionality regarding office, automated production, CAD based platform, R&D and Design office related job and all other need could be fulfilled through this machine.
